I used to work as a digital marketing executive in a private firm a few months ago. All was going well until the end of 1st month, the boss decided to shift me to his another company and handle the other website too for the same pay. There I faced another boss (his brother), who gave me instructions opposite to my other boss. I got so confused which one to follow, yet I somehow put all my ability to sort off both the websites. And finally at the time of my 1st pay, I received almost half the amount of what I was promised to pay. Guess what? They cut the pay of the weekends. When I asked for an explanation they told that "it's a 24x7 running business. If you miss a day then we cut the pay."
I was furious and asked why didn't they tell me about this rule before, to which they lied that they already told me and that I had forgotten. RIDICULOUS... Also they promised at my joining day that they will hand me my appointment letter by the end of 15 days, but I didn't even get a soft copy by the end of 1.5 months.
I couldn't control the harassment more so I left the company without any prior notice. After that, both the bosses rang me for 2 weeks asking to come back and negotiate further, but I refused and blocked all their numbers.
This was my hell job for 1.5 hell months.
Had I continued for another day, I would have felt like a construction laborer - building their sites all day in exchange of a teaspoon full of pay - which is, by the way, considered as one of the worst American jobs as cited by my essay writer couple of years ago.
