  1. Gylt developer (Tequila Works) tweeted that the game will be ported to other platforms and made available sometime next year.
  2. Bought Warhammer: Vermintide 2 for 3,77 € from Fanatical. Not even sure if i'll actually enjoy playing it, but i like the graphics and the setting in general. Sometimes i have to marvel at how affordable gaming has become, too bad the planet is going to shit.
  3. Looks like this has gotten a re-release: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1615100/The_Last_Stand_Legacy_Collection/
  4. Wow i had no idea that RE 5 is still using GFWL, i bought it on Humble Bundle a couple of years ago (maybe late 2015?) through on of those Capcom bundles that seemed to be a good value proposition (came with RE4, RE5 + DLC, Devil May Cry, Ultra Street Fighter IV among others), but i still haven't installed it yet. I remember the Steam version of Fallout 3 being a bit of a pain to get running due to GFWL, though. I somehow got around those issues, but that was back on Windows 7.
  5. It's available on GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/moonstone_a_hard_days_knight
  6. Guns, Gore & Cannoli 1 + 2 Pack for 3 bucks from Fanatical, looks to be a fun Metal Slug type of game.
  7. Played this a while ago, and it was alright. A point & click adventure with very minimal controls, looked a bit like a flash or mobile game. The time travel mechanics were well implemented from what i remember, and the writing and voice acting was pretty good aswell. About halfway through the game the charaters stopped being voiced for some reason, which i found odd.
  8. The guy who owns the MetalJesusRocks YouTube channel used to work for Sierra (or Dynamix), i believe.
  9. Playing the Quake 4 campaign at the moment, and aside from the vehicle sections i'd say it still holds up nicely, having a good time here. I bought the Steam key from Humble Bundle a couple of years ago, and what i find a bit odd is that my version ( https://steamdb.info/sub/8943/depots/ ) comes with 4 languages (english, french, italian, spanish), whereas the Steam store version ( https://steamdb.info/sub/11033/depots/ ) is english only. Must be a leftover from the Activision days, they always create dozens of different packages for each region. Apparently the GOG version is english only aswell.
  10. Well, this was the trailer that piqued my interest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B_w12sNPGo
  11. I remember this being one of 3 games i was really looking forward to back in 2007 because of their interesting premise or setting, the other 2 being Clive Barker's Jericho and Tabula Rasa by Lord Englishman. But in the end i never got around to playing any of those games, and from what i gathered they all had issues (like Tabula Rasa's servers shutting down a year later) or were just not all that great.
  12. Oh yeah that wobble effect on models, i remember it being quite extreme in Kingpin, especially on character models, but also on objects like motorbikes etc. I found it curious that i hadn't noticed it in other games at that time, but apparently there weren't that many 3rd party games made using the Quake 2 engine (compared to idTech 3 later on), and out of those i had only played Kingpin. Well that and Herectic 2, but not for long, since it gave me massive motion sickness despite being in 3rd person perspective.
  13. Here are some examples of games that were also made in AGS: https://store.steampowered.com/app/631570/Whispers_of_a_Machine/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/370910/Kathy_Rain/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/307580/Technobabylon/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/336140/Unavowed/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/227000/Primordia/ I mean yeah, as far as presentation goes, they're all 2D point & click adventure games. But art direction makes a huge difference.
  14. This used to be an exclusive title for the original Xbox, but a couple of years ago they ported it to PC and Xbox One and made it free to download on the Microsoft Store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/phantom-dust/9pcdnbhr11mr That is, from what i understood the single player portion is free, but they are selling some add-ons for multiplayer.
  15. Apparently this was released on both GOG and Steam this year: https://www.gog.com/game/battle_engine_aquila https://store.steampowered.com/app/1346400/Battle_Engine_Aquila/
