One of my favorite strategy games of the era. It's chock full of good humor and pretty solid gameplay for a 90s strategy game. Sequel had arguably better gameplay.

Is good if you like competition-style strategy games. Very polished and balanced. It was practically made for e-sports.

There's also a StarDrive 2 out. I'm not sure what to feel on them. The customization of ships alone is hours of entertainment for someone like me. But for gameplay itself, it feels very much like you'd expect a space strategy game to feel. Compare to Sins of a Solar Empire, but a little bit less polished.
