  1. Truly one of my favorite games of all time. A shame the devs decided to follow this up by making a game about children playing soccer.
  2. Yeah the image doesn't display once I click on it from the list. Has a lot of promise but still isn't done after all these years. When I got it, took me maybe 5-6 hours to paly what was there and I scrape every inch of maps trying to see and find everything and sit around admiring scenery a lot. And from what I've been told on the forums, not much else ahs been added and they've mostly just been overhauling gameplay and I thought that it was perfectly fine. It was hard, but I have quicksaves and it was early in the game. Hope they get it together.
  3. The survival meter's are just garbage like you have to smoke 5 joints every ten minutes or you'll die of stress (and you've just gotta go around picking more herbs which is inevitably gonna expose you to more factors that induce stress) and the combat just never felt very satisfying. But really what stopped me was this one mission where you need to follow a beeping noise to place a scanner or something and I could never find where to put this last one after having spent maybe 3 hours in total trying to figure it out. May be a bug, maybe not. Not interested in finding out.
  4. This was a wonderful experience and I wish I could play it for the first time again.
  5. Great local co-op experience. has a zombie mode and infinite tower mode.
  6. Check out HalfSword if you like this.
  7. Man this game looks and feels so cool but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and the game is so brutally difficult I could never get very far. I could never find any good gameplay that got far enough to give me the guidance I needed to figure out how to survive more than a couple days.
  8. Good for a first time through but it's not really re-playable after you've beaten scenerios. great with vodka.
  9. Perhaps my favorite Diablo Clone. Hard to even see your character with all the combat effects happening. If you rollback a couple updates, there's supposedly a functional 3rd person camera mod called GrimCam, but I couldn't get it working.
  10. Great local co-op experience. Difficult but not too punishing.
  11. This is one of those games that was amazing years ago, and really is one of the cooler diablo clones I've played. But recently, they just ripped away local co-op for no conceivable reason and I haven't picked it up since. Like The levels didn't change, the game barely changed, there's just no co-op now and that's the whole reason I had bought the game. What the fuck.
  12. This game is almost a masterpiece, 8.5/10. Great action, decent roleplay, and one of those stories that really makes you consider the implications of what's going on. Easy recommendation. There's also cool random encounters and whatnot. I never got motion sickness from this like White Flame did, not even close. Really want to see this expanded upon.
  13. FYI- when it says "Wizard Class" it means druid with a freaking assault rifle, I mean you even hold the wand like one because it ahs a buttstock. I mean you get magical assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, and they all have different effects like bouncing bullets, freezing blasts, explosions, it's awesome. This is the only game where I play a wizard. Lot's of fun. Just make sure you replant your trees and don't build your base next to the corruption.
  14. I really liked this game and it's got a huuuuuuuge world to explore. But you want to use some mods to make your base area a bit bigger. Leaves me wanting more.
  15. It's a bit phone gamey and pretty grindy, but it's got great art, atmosphere, music, and overall is just a great game to play when your just trying to chill in viking ghost land. Most of what you do is gather resources, craft stuff to craft more stuff, and kill stuff.
  16. I really enjoy games like this, be it Terraria or Cortex Command, but the game has no persisting upgrades/long term progression or anything like that it's just " Try Again" and after a couple try's I'm like "eh I like the destruction but I want something to show for my time spent in the game other than an hour counter on steam".
  17. I played a bit of this game and was really getting into it, but it requires you to put up with one of the most annoying fantasy characters I have ever encountered in my entire life and I just chose not to. Wish the game let me chose not to as well but it didn't.
  18. I've heard this game is bad, but the game it's based off of, Cortex Command, is still a real-time Worms inspired masterpiece to this day.
  19. More Postal 2, still better than Postal 4.
  20. Dark Souls with guns. Was really cool, but it having some super spongey enemies, and not having a lot of options for what armors you can wear kind of dragged it down for me. I mean I wore the same hat the whole game because the grinding required to upgrade the new ones I found just wasn't worth it. The ending of the game is basically just a "Buy the DLC to see the end of the game" cutscene. Still a really cool game though.
  21. Awesome game but that Egypt level just obliterated me everytime. I always just ran out of ammo on that level.
  22. I played this on my phone and it was ok, but I think there's better options out there. It seemed pretty bare bones and even though it was all you really had on a Ipad back then, it still didn't really hold my interest. Maybe the pc version is better.
  23. God this was a fun ride. Rolling around with The Fellowship of the Dwarves just laying waste to everything and building up your town is awesome. It's like a more streamlined Hinterland but 2d and only dwarves, which is good. Map has enough locations to explore with some light puzzle solving to keep you occupied for a good while. Eagerly awaiting the sequel. I feel like a mix of this and Kingdom: New Lands/Two Crowns could be a masterpiece. Which I believe someone ahs attempted (it's got some kind of viking name) but the reviews say that it failed.
  24. Great action ,but it can be hard to see what's going on with all the effects during combat.
  25. This game has such a vibe and artstyle to it that I find irresistible but but like the original Dark Souls, without outside help you might hit a point where you have no idea where to go and what to do, and that happened to me. This past week I've been thinking about this game a lot while playing Blasphemous and I intend to give it another shot soon. The local co-op is awesome. Overall it's beautiful, brutally difficult, and really rewards trying to go off the beaten path.
