Ross, did you ever try Blade Runner (Westwood)? It got a retouch recently. The roles are randomized for each playthrough so the choices more or less matter on that one.

Could be. Actually, when I played through Ravenholm, one weird event - comparable to jumping off a dam - is right after that. Immediately after you get to the church with Grigori, he says "yeah, I'll lead you to the mines". Fine, he doesn't want Gordon to stick around. But after the graveyard, the entrance to the mines themselves...first, you have to drop down like 10 stories, and then once you get into the mines you need to do another cannonball to water. The cannonball to water has a precedent (Ep 20 of FM1), but that huge drop might need some in-universe justifications :)

I'm eagerly awaiting the next episode. Just checked out Ravenholm on my HL2 installation and I had forgotten how convoluted the map really is. Gordon has to climb up, go to rooftops, and then reverse back on the street level, then go back again...so a lot of the alleys are indeed "murder alleys" going nowhere. Ross will probably comment on that :)

Out of interest, what was the Source issue that gave you lots of extra work + needed coding help to get it sorted?

Hi, lurker here. Watched the latest chat and wanted to comment on Windows 10 updates. I'm using WUMT (Windows Update Minitool) and have been using it for last 1,5 years. Take a look at https://win10.guru/toolkit-item-windows-update-minitool-wumt/ Download at https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_update_minitool.html The only thing is that it has not been updated since 2016, but it still works. Essentially: Disable the automatic updates (using GPOs or just disable the Windows update service). Then you can use the WUMT to select and install whatever updates you like - just like in the older days. However: Microsoft these days just bundles everything together in "Cumulative update for January 2019" and similar packages. So you cannot really pick and choose some specific KB. Still, the control is there.
