Yeah, that's because they're both British, and Saxon formed only 2 years after Maiden. I dare say that they're better than Maiden in terms of sheer quality, because if we're being honest, Maiden has made some absolute all filler no killer albums that have blown ass through a straw, yet Saxon have always had this consistently high standard where not one album is better or worse than the rest. If I had to pick a fav it might be Wheels of Steel or Lionheart, but even then that's a stretch. 3.5/5 Catchy and heavy, although I can sense some Grunge in there, so it's not really my tastes. tIzMTvs9aGg
