  1. Hey, if it's good, I'll play it.
  2. Make newer soldiers less mobile.
  3. I like geometric, colourful futures that aren't bad or good, just kind of there. Like, will we really be either involved in a nuclear war or have found the cure for AIDS by 2050? I don't like mediaeval fantasy, since it's been done a lot.
  4. A homework assignment.
  5. Mostly funny for the backstory, but I think this counts.
  6. Sonic CD. I get why people don't really like it, but I liked it when I played it. I like the US music, another point of contention, and the gameplay is the same as the first one. I guess it's a case of it's the same, now it sucks but with time travel.
  7. Hey, I have a funny story about SimCity 2000. I know someone who wants to be a city planner, so I sat them down to my notebook, started up SC2K, and let them loose. Long story short, the people couldn't get around a loop in the road, there were four fire stations right next to each other, and a fifth one 50 miles away. It ended up just being destroyed.
  8. I like it! Personally I wouldn't just stick to guns either, why not start at a prehistoric/pre homo-sapien level with only your fists and low cunning to get by. Eventually through levelling up you can gain access to improvised weapons, the advent of metallurgy, armour upgrades, and then somewhat later on you research and earn guns. Much much later on you can even acquire advanced explosives, and then veer off into sheer sci-fi territory with genetically pre-programmed nano-swarms and psionic augmented attacks? Good idea.
  9. Overwatch is becoming the new FNAF/Goat Sim/Undertale, I can sense it now.
  10. A deathmatch game with unlockable tiers of weapons you can get by doing certain things. I think it would be fun, wouldn't it? Start with late 19th century guns, work your way up to 21st. Features:
  11. The Sims 1 for me. All expansions plus a bunch of custom content. I'm glad that some cc websites are still up.
  12. This isn't the original source, but you can find it real easy with a reverse image search.
  13. Ocarina of Time. I just. . .don't care what happens in it. I wasn't ever really interested in the story.
  14. By the way, before you guys think HL3 will be VR only: http://www.pcgamer.com/valve-writer-says-half-life-3-will-not-be-a-vr-game/
  15. I had to think about it, but that's pretty good.
  16. Either the Earth's Gravity rant or the Modern Major General song.
  17. Episode 1: Robotics Episode 2: Programmers! Episode 3: The Green Apocalypse Episode 4: Dead Body Road Episode 5: Manslaughter Episode 10: Duncecap Episode 10.5: Ladderpocalypse Episode 15: Animal Control Episode 20: Cannonball Episode 25: Retirement Episode 30: The Stooges Join the War Episode 35: Stranger in a Strange Land Episode 40: Lasers! 18. Being in areas where there is a large amount of space behind me. If there are people back there, like for example a grocery store, I'm not really bothered, since hey, it's occupied space. However, if I'm in my room at night and have my back facing the door, yeah, I'm a little bit on edge.
  19. Hi, I'm Oliver. I've been a fan of Freeman's Mind and Civil Protection since around 2008 or 2009, and only found out about this place around 2014. I like music, thought experiments, and weird or alternate reality websites, whether they have a purpose to exist or not. My favourite song right now is Biohazard by Loonie, but I also like Words of Love by O-Zone. Also, I like Tom.
  20. Jews: "oh no, the Nazis!" The Holocaust
  21. I think spending a few years to make an alternate reality website that looks like it's from about 2001 with pages spanning back through the Nineties, with information and fake-but-playable ROMs for games that weren't released—like Dinosaur Planet—or betas of games that were, but all presented as though those were what shipped, with a blog on the side is a good use of time. It starts off just like reality but. . .a little off, enough that those uneducated enough in 21st century American history wouldn't catch on. 9/11 would still happen, since that day basically defines the whole year, but there might be mentions of a couple formerly famous people, those who reached their height in the 1970s for example, dying on the planes. Then, as you dive deeper and deeper into the archives, you find some bigger diversions, but still subtle enough to make you wonder if it's a conspiracy website or you're just going crazy, with enough detail and faked photos to potentially convince someone. Then, once you reach about 1995 or so, things just take a left turn. Hell, alternate reality websites in general are really cool.
  22. I'm currently reading a 1947 copy of Richardson and Scarlett's General College Chemistry. It's pretty good, and from my knowledge there hasn't been a fundamental change in the inner workings of chemistry, so it's been a help.
