  1. Yeah, that. I guess I should have specified legal slavery. "Former slave owner" my ass. . .
  2. A quick way to raise my blood pressure: imply that you have experienced slavery in 21st century America, despite the fact tha nobody has experienced slavery for the last ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS. If you had said segregation, then maybe, but even then, you'd have to be 65 years old to experience it first hand, not Millenial #53.
  3. Hey, me too! Unless you count Chuck E. Cheeses as fast food. I wouldn't, it's not really either word.
  4. I know of a place in Pakistan whose pizzas have had a drastic cut in the amount of inchworms recently. There's this guy I want to hang out with more. How do I convince him to come over?
  5. I've always hated how people treat retail workers, fast food workers, et c. I know one of those horrid customer types and it pisses me off whenever they do that shit. I understand why some of you might not have had the best day tha day, which is more than I can say for an unfortunate number of people. I sympathise with you, man.
  6. In the Heart of the Sea — Good action, superb visual effects, a story I got really invested in, and the ending was pretty good. I don't want to spoil much, it was really good. At least, I thought it was.
  7. I want to kick the person who said "if you don't try, you'll never succeed" in the dick. So far I've tried a lot, and maybe once succeeded in doing what I set out to do. In fact, most of the time, trying is why I fail in the first place. It's like I'm given a machine that prints money, but explodes if I press a button, and I go and press every button on the machine. Every computer I own, I break on my own, I'm a grade B student at the best of times, and I barely manage to be lineable. Am I one of God's punching bags? Given enough intelligence to do things, buh not enough to do anything right?
  8. [off topic] Ushanka, that would be awesome.
  9. Hello watercolour my old friend
  10. Apparently, the '06 GMA 3000 is as good as a good card from '02. Three or four years' lag actually is way less than I was expecting, I was thinking something more like five years.
  11. Oh yeah, that movie. I remember complaining about it back in August.
  12. Ha anyone recommended Ultimate Spin Doctor yet? It's a puzzle game where you control an arrow as it swings to an from little metallic balls trying to avoid other, differently coloured arrows to reach a goal metal ball. It's actually pretty fun and has no time limit on the puzzles.
  13. Getting peeved that this LNK1106 error is getting the better of me—cannot seek to 0x50d0d, it says. Edit: Figure it out but now there's 243 2001s and 2 warnings, and only two of those are new code. Edit 2: Iealz3o4yRs
  14. Update #2:Project 1's source is still lost, but I know it's somewhere in my Google Drive. Project 2's development has started again since I've dug out a ThinkCentre desktop. While it is unfortunately also made by Lenovo, it does have major backing by IBM, so it should pan out better. I've made the first couple assets, like textures and sounds, and I'll start code first thing tomorrow. I'd say I'm 1% done, and it'll release sometime in 2019 if I don't hit another snag, or worse, get another ex-computer. Edit: iPod touch 4.
  15. Half-Life 1 because I hate that messianic position put on Gordon Freeman and I think the HECU are more challenging. Plus, I like that aliens are the most common enemies. One grows so tired of UU soldiers.
  16. I can't find the page just now, but Gina Cross was actually said to be Gordon's wife in a 1998 or '99 Valve interview.
  17. I laugh at the misery of the poor, stupid fucks that actually thought he would go through with it. Pewds lives lile a king, I'm sure, and willingly giving that up isn't something many people would do.
  18. I don't have a guy yet. /joke Probably make big progress on my work. I too am working on a movie. Abd three books, though not concurrently. And three games. I have too many projects.
  19. So here's a 3D scene with a 2D version. http://imgur.com/ogeUndk http://imgur.com/hUJ6r4K
  20. "Oh, this isn't even close to my final form, Tom!"
  21. Hard sci-fi and I'm pretty sure there is. Would you take the power to shapeshift every full moon if it meant the town and your family hated you and thought you were a werewolf?
  22. http://m.imgur.com/viBWUSy Who says laziness isn't a style? Sure, thet's how Dorbees Making Decisions was made, but if you try enough times you can get something out of minimal effort.
  23. Fucking hell, I used to use that phrase as a joke! Also, I seem to be the only one in my immediate family who gives a fuck about how my niece turns out. My Dad's back in Tennessee, Mom feels bad about her not "getting enough attention", which translates into that birthday scene in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone where Dudley Dursley counts his presents and as such actually wanted to reward her bad behaviour, my youngest sister is too lazy to make important appointments and at the age of 23 still does not know the basics of driving, let alone take care of a child, my middle sister lives in Canada with her husband, my oldest sister, who is my niece's mother is the richest joke in childcare I've seen, letting her watch Family Guy, several dozen horror serieslike Carrie I think, and basically whatever happens to be kn TV, my brother is serving in the Navy in East Virginia and as such can't spend any time here, the child's father is even worse and actuall puts on pornography and smokes marihuana fully aware that she can come in at any time, and I'm just here trying and seemingly failing to hammer in important lessons at the age of five such as "you're too old to get up and wander around in the middle of eating" and "coughing in people's faces is rude and can get them sick".
  24. I thought it would be something of note.
  25. I got Railroad Tycoon 2 recently, in an area where PC video games are hard to find, in a thrift shop that had a CD/DVD section the same size as most people's closets. For $2. That was a good day.
