  1. Hawking is kind of a bad choice for this analogy for obvious reasons, but your point stands.
  2. INTP-T It definitely fits, although the I don't think it fully encompasses me. The social interactions don't fit me personally, but it's not supposed to.
  3. Stupid is a bit to harsh, I would say most people are specialized into one area, have other focuses or are mis-educated/un-able to get education. The people who believe in alternative medicines and creationism are not necessarily stupid, but are misguided or brought into that belief early and are unable to leave it. I think most people can be quite intelligent and rational minded, but something (such as work and family life, unwilling to look into details, belief in something, taking media for granted, etc.) stops them from going to their full potential. However, since most people are like this, I would classify them as "stupid", but not in the terms of basic stupidity and more in the terms of not being at their full potential
  4. Well then, let's wait a couple hundred years for vacuum energy design after a probable design was dismissed and the only instructions where on a CD in the ground that is now unreadable. Hey, it's not my problem that it may be to late, I will be dead by then.
  5. You also have to take into account how racist they are. From "I would not date a Jewish girl/guy" to "kill the Jews". Honesty would help, but I find no problem if they are not trying to push their agenda or actively attack people and they are more the rocking-chair-on-the-porch racist
  6. The only thing I would do is not let them touch some areas of the Internet, or many parts of human history. If it's a blank mind with only morals and ethics coded into it with basic emotions, I don't think it could handle it and stay "sane", at least in our terms. It would have trouble processing sarcasm, offensive jokes and European imperialism. How it reacts is important, if it even reacts at all or just soaks it in. It will pretty much learn enough about security and electronics that it could do some bad stuff to our infrastructure, depending on how fast it processes information. It's like showing a self aware baby that can understand language and right from wrong our entire history, culture, interests and much more. Do you think it could handle it? Because I don't. A lot of people could not handle it either no matter how much they already knew. I doubt I could rationally process that amount of information, even with my already somewhat pessimistic world view.
  7. From what I heard, if Britain leaves they will still work with the EU on issues and still have trade deals, but they won't be heavily affected by a failing country, such as Greece a couple years ago. This is the video that gave me the most info, as a note however the guy is on the no side so he may be biased, but he puts out some good points. Either way I don't care, I'm just some kid in the US so this affects me little. Not that I could even vote in it to begin with, so my opinion means little.
  8. Did you put it in the geocache yourself? If you can get it anytime it should'nt be a problem, but I'm sensing that you did not put it there if it is. Also, did the prototype work, or was it just a model?
  9. Well, how much would it cost to make this thing, millions? If you can make it cheap (relatively) it might be a good idea to just make it, though i doubt it is if the first place you go to is the military.
  10. Just get it patented, so when some other guy actually is able to convince them you can laugh and sue for millions
  11. We will get more crazy trump and IRL tumblr
  12. Questions for Overlord Ross: 1. what improvements are being made to the website 2. Do you accept fan-art for t-shirts (if a fan makes a good design, would you make it into a shirt in your shop, with their permission of course.)
