  1. 9/10 Nice hat.
  2. http://www.ea.com/en/1/service-updates Obviously this may not be complete, since it's posted be EA themselves. But this is bad enough already and you have it right from the source, so if nothing else that's a place to start.
  3. Well I've just arrived at Hong Kong. The levels after the NSF Airfield are much better. Also I did something hilarious. If i knew why exactly you like the levels after the airfield more i could tell you if the game keeps going in that direction or not....either way the Hong Kong area has some of the coolest places in the game, Wan Chai Market, The Canals, . Other than that, the story starts of as, like you said, more of a parody of the US government and blind opposition terrorism, it's really just towards the end where it asks you serious questions that provoke some thought in regards to free will, general freedom of man and technological advancement. Not so much direct transhumanism, that's HRs thing. Inbetween it's just conspiracies, so if that's something you enjoy reading up on, there's that. Anyway, i can talk about this game for hours so i'd better stop here. If you do continue or quit, i would appreciate if you let us know. I've never spoken to someone that plain disliked Deus Ex and it would be really interesting for me to know.
  4. Getting ready to hit the gym... BVx8PvCeOz8
  5. Deus Ex: Revision mod I think it's really, really cool. Some people seem to think it fixes things that weren't broken, but i think its WAY more atmospheric. Especially the hublevels like Hell's Kitchen and Hong Kong seem much more alive and less "game-y" or "arcade-ish". Not that Ion Storm didn't pay attention to detail in the vanilla game, but it simply features more assets and has less hardware limitations, so they went crazy with making places look like there's actually things happening there. Labs look like they're used for research instead of having a table with a token microscope and a computer. Hell's Kitchen has more than 3 buildings, etc.
  6. Basically, all of this except i didn't even like the steampunk setting. I actually don't like Bioshock games in general which is weird because i love FPS with RPG Elements. System Shock, for example, i loved.
  7. Depends heavily on the genre and the artist(s) themselves. But when it's live i prefer to be there so when it comes to recordings i'd say studio usually. Vacation at home or traveling?
  8. PbzSWcRM9u0
  9. Sunsets. I have the better personal experiences with them. Never had anything memorable during sunrises. A relaxed night at home or a night out with friends?
  10. Dota 2. Dotes is love, dotes is life. all day every day.
  11. Just out of interest, the time of the original or the time of Human Revolution? And i'm assuming you chose it because you would (want to) get augmented yourself? OT: Like i said in the Q&A Thread, Mass Effect. Maybe it's just a huge emotional attachment to the games, but i still believe it would be amazing.
  12. I've really been getting into Neoclassical for a while, very interesting genre. J5rEuIRXM4I
  13. Rye bread and a cup of Earl Grey.
  14. Sitting in vocational school procrastinating work like a boss.
  15. 10/10 reminds me of myself whenever a friend convinces me to try some weird drink he found somewhere.
  16. Yes. Not a huge fan though. It's okay once in a while but that's it. If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, no internet access, no other people to play with locally, what would it be?
  17. I think i just ragequit work. Not as in actually quit my job but i was so annoyed i just left early. This might be awkward tomorrow.
  18. qlJj1FUhtg0
  19. Mass Effect, prolly. Space Travel, interspecies relations, count me in. Let's spin this one around: If you could force anyone you despise to live in any video game universe, which would it be?
  20. Well, i saw it yesterday and i give it 8. I might update to a 9 when i've watched it in english. I didn't feel like taking a trip to a cinema that would show it in english. I feel some of the humor might have been lost in translation.
  21. Hangover.
  22. 8/10 Looks like something i'd want to keep as a pet.
  23. In my experience with mice, price is rarely an indicator. I've used expensive Razer/Logitech stuff that was no better than cheap mice not even designed for gaming. Right now i'm using a Sharkoon Rush Fireglider which i'm mostly happy with. It took 4 years until the first problems showed up a few days ago. (Mwheel is screwing around sometimes). I'm gonna have to replace it soon.
  24. Something relaxed for the worst hours of a terrible hangover. wUoCaWkfLSk
  25. I'm not sure how obscure this game is exactly, but it's overlooked as far as i can tell. An Action-Adventure/Third-Person-Shooter published by Acclaim in 1999 released for Windows, PSone, N64 and Dreamcast. Mike "Shadow Man" LeRoi can walk the world of the living and the world of the dead (called "Deadside" in-game), which he has to enter to stop a group of serial killers under the command of Legion, a prime evil attempting to end the world of the living. What i like most about it is its theme. Many of the plot elements, weapons and items are heavily inspired by Voodoo, which is kind of unusual. It's a nice change from the usual demonic theme you'd expect in a game about entering the underworld. Some of the characters and dialogue are actually pretty hilarious and quite original. For a shooter from 1999 it has a pretty ok plot and narrative. Gameplay is a mixed bag, shooting sections can be quite one-sided until you get a good selection of weapons and powers. When you do, however, it gets fun since you can use any 2 weapons you want at the same time. Platforming might be enough to scare some people away from the game. Another thing some people consider problematic is the backtracking. You will often find places you cannot access until much later. For me, this actually makes it feel like an open world game, though it's rare you can choose between multiple locations. You will usually just walk into a dead end. Overall i think it has a very cool atmosphere, design and characters. Gameplay is not great, but good enough. A quite unique game. Intro: It's available on Steam for a few bucks.
