An LPer I like recently played Mibibli's Quest, which was basically a deliberately weird take on NES platformers, particularly the Mega Man series. Between the horrible color palette clash and zaniness is an excellent chiptune compilation with some occasional diversions into different genres of music for novelty's sake. Listen to the OST . If you pay at least $10 for the game (which can also be downloaded for free or any price, really), you get a copy of the soundtrack for your own personal use.
