This soundtrack man, great way to feel like a space cowboy.

Uplink is a pretty solid game. I would also check out Hacknet if you haven't already. It's somewhere in the bowels of my steam wishlist. However, I don't think any game will provide me with the same experience I got with Uplink. I realize this is completely subjective, but no game will ever recreate what I experienced playing Uplink. I can't even really justify or explain it, It's just something that happens to me with certain pieces of content. I get the same way with the opening credits song to the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy movie. It's like every emotion I have hitting me all at once. Play this song and I will literally not be able to do anything but listen to every single note for its two minute duration.

I tried to play Total War: Attila, but I just got so frustrated because it's still not nearly as good as Shogun 2. So I downloaded Shogun 2 again and lost 3 campaigns in a row, good times.

Iorn Sky 9/10 best spiritual successor to Dr. Strangelove there ever was. Sarah Palin is president, and there are Nazi's on the moon.

I always liked the soundtrack to Uplink. Nothing quite like it out there, heavy science fiction/cyberpunk vibe to it, great vocals. It's still what I turn on when I need to type something long winded or program something.

It's nice to see an old forum come to life again. Nothing quite as melancholy as a dead forum, its vast thoughts and myriad ideas set in stone, yet lost forever only to be viewed by the blind, or the lost. Anyway, I'm Laxor, or at least that's what I call myself. I like to talk about nearly every subject, even if I know nothing about it, so feel free to message me.

The soundtrack to Rebel Galaxy has a great collection of songs to make you feel like a space cowboy. Seriously blowing up a titan class cruiser while listening to this is a great way to cheer anyone up. Also if you haven't heard it the Total War: Shogun 2 soundtrack is amazing. Hope you like drums and the flute. If you want an amazing thumping beat, you can never go wrong with the soundtrack of Payday 2. Or you could try one of my alltime favorite soundtracks from the game Uplink. I still program to this, and nothing has quite matched its cyberpunk feel for me yet.
