If you want something that's a little trippy, this is from the game OFF, a French Indie Title that's free to play and uses RPGMaker. It plays akin to Final Fantasy VI and other SNES RPGs, and is fairly short. The soundtrack is... Interesting. But I find Pepper Steak to be one of my favorites, as well as Avatar Beat. Tell me what you think! Another Indie Title that hit it big this year and is akin to that of the likes of Earthbound, Undertale is one of the freshest concepts I've seen in terms of turn based RPGs where the skill in dodging mixes Top Down Shooters with turn based strategy. It's a great game that's really cheap, and has a wonderful soundtrack. My personal favorite is Megalovania, although CORE has great atmosphere. That's all I have for now, happy listening!
