So to clarify I'll only be sort of gone as opposed to completely gone. I'll still be lurking from time to time. but I am spending a lot more time over at the other place so odds are I won't be on nearly as much. I have found my people. A bunch of catty pricks who write 7 paragraphs long essays about video games who obsess incessantly about them. It's perfect.

@Username Nah, I have no qualms with you. I may get into a lot of fights but I'm not one to hold grudges. I don't really have any IDs as my Steam account was banned years ago. I have no interest in getting it back after all bullshit I had to go through in an attempt to get it back. I don't really use my email for actual email either. For now people are more than welcome to PM me on these forums as I'm not gone quite yet.

Do you want to keep in touch via PMs? You're a fun person to hang around with and I think we have quite a bit in common. I've been sort of taking a leave from these forums as well. I've found a place that's much better suited for my essays on video games than here. It's not that I don't love you guys but the joy I've experienced while being there is almost indescribable. I don't think I've ever been this happy before and I don't feel the need to be this bitter jaded curmudgeon anymore. I still have friends here that I want to keep in contact with like SelfSurprise, BTGBullseye, Jeb_CC and you (if you'd like). I'm also hoping to get more involved in terms of working with Accursed Farms like the Game Dungeon Spinoff Ross has been talking about and possibly Dead Game News. But I think I'm done as far as being active on these forums. I might post from time to time. But I got as much joy out of them as I'm going to get and I want to move onto more things. 1. Ross have you considered using the TFGH or YGHJ controls schemes for FPS movement? They'll put your hand in the center of the keyboard so that way you have access to all of your keys unlike WASD or ESDF. 2. How can I get involved with the Game Dungeon spinoff you mentioned way back in the August videochat? I recently had my PC outfitted with two SSDs so I could totally record and edit footage for it. 3. Brutal Doom 64, Alright anyone who's not playing Brutal Doom 64 go play it, it's terrifyingly awesome. Everything I enjoy in a video game is perfectly aligned in Brutal Doom 64. The eerie atmosphere, the punchy sound effects and the explosive gore are all just perfect and I have no complaints with it which is a rarity for me. I can't endorse this game hard enough. I'm currently debating whether I like Brutal Doom 64 more than Quake I and I love Quake I to death. That's why I don't think I'm fit for a romantic relationship. I'm much more trusting of purely platonic relationships like friendships than I do of romantic relationships. I find that being in a romantic relationship would expose me at my most weakest moments and thus I could easily be taken advantage of. I have built a mental castle with a gate with which I only let in the people I trust the most. That doesn't mean I'll be taking down that castle to let more people in though.

FEAR 1 on highest difficulty with no slow-mo use. FEAR 1 is a completely different game without the slow-mo and it's really hard.

Do HDDs and SSDs roast inside of mobile racks? Maybe I should look for mounting brackets instead. Are there any mounting brackets that can mount both a 3.5" HDD and a 2.5" SSD?

#31 Romantic Relationships Alright, I think it's time I confronted this. It's been bothering me so much that I need to talk about it. So my issues with romantic relationships stem from two things, ego and pessimism. Let's start with ego. If I were to even consider a relationship with someone that person would essentially have to be me and I'm not willing to settle for anything less. I've seen what marriages between differing personalities can be like and it isn't pleasant. I don't want to end up in what seems like an unending hell for the rest of my life. Onto pessimism, if I were in a relationship I couldn't help but put it in most negative pessimistic light possible. "She probably hates my guts but she keeps her mouth shut so she can steal money from me." That's what I'll be repeating in my head constantly, over and over again. Romantic relationships sound too good to be true so I immediately suspect they're a scam and something else is going on. It's a defense mechanism to keep me safe. So yeah, basically she would have to be exactly like me and not screw me over at any point. Otherwise no dice. I feel so much better now that I've talked about it.

It's why I still run Windows 7. But as soon as React OS becomes a viable alternative I'll switch. It's funny how Microsoft completely ditched everything their OS had been known for up until Windows 10. User Friendliness? gone. Stability? gone. Compatibility with older games? gone. If you have a copy of Windows 7 you might be able to wipe Windows 10 and replace it with Windows 7. But I've also heard Windows 10 is particularly hard to remove so I'm not sure what kind of options you have other than putting up with Windows 10.
