@danielsangeo Since Ross is busy I figured the best way to ask him about recording would be via the December Videochat. Please make sure my questions get to Ross for the December Videochat. 1. Ross what kind of format do you prefer regarding gameplay videos for the monthly videochats to be in? I currently record my videos to .mkv but I can switch to .mp4 if you prefer. 2. Ideally how long would you like the gameplay footage to be so you don't have to replay it over and over again during one of the monthly videochat? 3. I presume you use OBS to record all the raw gameplay footage for Game Dungeon. Could you please tell me what your settings are? I'm currently recording with a variable bitrate(VBR) of 5500 and with the AMD H.264 encoder. 4. Once I've recorded the gameplay footage how do I send it to you? I can't just email a 15-20 GB video file to you.

The Mushkin Enhanced Redline is out of stock on both Newegg and Amazon. Do you have any other suggestions for other DDR4 RAM? I still want those lower timings. Are you sure about the Kingston HyperX RAM? I went to Kingston's HyperX website and as far as I can tell it lists all the specs of their RAM. I'm wondering if lack of information provided on their Newegg page is Newegg's fault. http://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/savage-ddr4

Dark Souls 1. The Lunesta Butterfly can go fuck itself.

Dark Souls 1. I got my Humanity count to 10 so I backtracked to the Firelink graveyard area and got a Murakumo out of it. Only took me 4 tries too. I think it's fairly safe to say I've gotten gud.

Please, leave me to sulk with my steaming cup of tea in this cold and cruel city landscape.

I've been looking at Be Quiet!'s CPU Coolers and I think the Pure Rock or Pure Rock Slim might be better than the Hyper T4. The Pure Rock Slim even has a cutout for the RAM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA68V2326642 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA68V4H84953 If 92mm fans are able to cool down an i5 6500 then I wouldn't mind using a CPU Cooler that has them. The Cooler Master T2 and Cooler Master TX3 look like possibilities http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835103064 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835103107

I just checked the manual and it's the first PCI Express slot. I Should still have enough clearance though. The Hyper T4 is 5 inches long(128.00mm). and there appears to be 3 inches between the Asrock H170's CPU socket and the first PCI Express slot. There's also 3 inches between CPU socket and the end of the motherboard. Here's an example of a Hyper 212 EVO (which is only half an inch shorter than the Hyper T4. 4.5 inches vs 5 inches.) on a MicroATX motherboard. As you can see there's a bit of a gap between the EVO and the GPU. So I imagine the Hyper T4 would only be slightly more snug than that. I'm looking for an upright air cooler so I can blow the air either out of the back(exhaust) or top of my Cooler Master N200 case. It needs to be small enough to guarantee me clearance for both the RAM slots and PCI slots. It needs to fit 120mm swappable fans in case the included fan dies and isn't fiddly to install unlike the Hyper 212 EVO. I installed a Hyper 212 EVO and it made me sweat bullets because of that stupid bracket which kept wiggling during the installation process. There's nothing really holding that bracket in place and I want something secure. If you have any suggestions for coolers let me know.

I saw it numerous times from the actual TV show as well. i8ju_10NkGY WHY DID THEY STOP PLAYING LAZYTOWN IN THE US?!?!?!?!?!?!

It was alright, I didn't feel stuffed and I wasn't anxious at all. We didn't get sparkling cider this year though.

Alright I think I've got a solid idea for how I'll cool my PC. I'm gonna go with the Cooler Master Hyper T4 and mount it horizontally for RAM clearance. I'll turn the CPU fan into an exhaust, mount it on the left side of the cooler(again for RAM clearance) and remove the exhaust fan. The removed Exhaust fan will then be installed at the top of my Cooler Master N200 case. Hopefully the Cooler Master Hyper T4 won't block the PCI Express slot but if it does I'll just mount my GPU in the second PCI Express slot since you said it was best to leave one of them empty anyway.

The Noctua NH-L9a is definitely out of the question. I saw a video for how to install one and I'm not too keen on supporting the heatsink as I install a backplate at the same time.

Oh yeah, I learned of your country's north/south divide from this video. ENeCYwms-Cc I don't get the joke they make about the midlands not existing though. The US has something similar with the Mason Dixon Line. My dad once made a joke that all the US's problems would be solved if The South just fell off into the sea. Kind of hard to argue against though.

Dark Souls 1 Can anyone recommend me a well rounded build? I need something that can handle whatever is thrown at it. I went with a dex build initially . While it worked for a while I realized I'm kinda screwed when it comes to shielded enemies.

Well this year's Thanksgiving turned out much better than I expected. I was neither stuffed nor nervous. A few days prior I had been talking with a Brit whom recently moved to the US for work. He talked about how the bread here was too sweet and that the portions we served were massive. You know I never thought I would be talking to a person in this country with a sensible notion towards food in my life. Like with most things I grew to accept insanity as the norm. I thought food over saturated with sugar and salt in portions that appear to be overcompensating for something was just normal. Most Americans I've seen wouldn't be far from eating mayonnaise straight from the jar, squirting ketchup straight into their mouths and other detestable dietary tendencies. Anyway I would love to continue to ramble more about how Americans fetishize food but another time perhaps. Back to the British expat I was talking to. He told me that he had been preparing himself physically for Thanksgiving with his GF's parents by not eating much the previous day. I told him it was good call and we continued talking about how weird food is in American for about half an hour. You know I don't think I could be more of an Anti-American living in America if I tried. Also protip if you happen to be drinking American sodas. Pour the can into a glass and add a 1/4 cup of water to it. You'll thank me later. I wonder how far away we are from making canned liquid sugar. Alright, I'm done bashing my country with a stick for now.

Gosh, I am not prepared for Thanksgiving tomorrow. There will be lots of food and I will probably feel so stuffed to the point of sickness like I usually do on Thanksgiving. I've never quite adapted to eating that much food in a given day. I'm used to small portioned meals and it really shows on Thanksgiving.

Well I have been looking into some more recent games like Dark Souls II, Witcher 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur. They're comparatively new amongst my library of games. Does that mean the 1060 is 28% better than the 1050 Ti? Is there a reason I would want 4 GBs of VRAM over the better hardware of the 1060? If SLI/Crossfire is a waste of money do you have any suggestions for what I could do with that other x16 PCI Express slot on my H170M Pro4? Edit: Now I'm really unsure if I want to get an Nvidia GPU. Nvidia just added Telemetry to their latest drivers. Better performance or not I don't want anyone spying on me. http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/nvidia_adds_telemetry_to_latest_drivers_heres_how_to_disable_it.html

Did SLI/Crossfire stop being a thing? I can't seem to find any SLI/Crossfire ports on the GPUs I've looked through. Will the GTX 1050 be able to handle things such as recording raw gameplay footage or emulation? What about the GTX 1050 Ti? The GTX 1050 Ti looks really appealing with 4 GBs of RAM for $150 whereas the GTX 1060 only has 3 GBs of RAM for $200. Seems like I would be paying more for less with the GTX 1060. Is the GTX 1050 Ti overclocked by default or are there non OC versions? What does Ti mean?

Spy, was there any surprise? Also you misspelled Scout Jeb.

Any suggestions for a non OC GPU? According to this price to performance chart http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_value.html Nvidia GTX 1050 is the best for the value. But I want to be able to use Vulkan drivers which Nvidia doesn't support. So I guess either the RX 460 or RX 470 then.
-
How about the ASRock H170M Pro4? I don't want to pay extra for overclocking and I need a decent sized rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157641

It's good to stay in shape, I'm actually moderately fit ATM. I do lots of running which is aerobic so I don't have a lot of muscle. I find anaerobic exercises which do build muscle to be really painful and nauseating especially if you're doing crunches which have made me thrown up on several occasions. I've been meaning to take up yoga as well but haven't gotten around to it.

Any suggestions for matx intel lga 1511 ddr4 motherboards? The ASRock B150M Pro4V looks pretty appealing right now. Two PCI express slots, 4x288 pin memory slots and M.2 SSD slot. I wish there was more USB slots but I plan on getting a USB hub anyway so no big deal. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157706

What's the programming language? I can work with just about any variant of C. Can I contact you via some other means? I've mentioned this to you before but my Steam account was banned years ago. I really don't want to deal with Valve again by getting another one.
