I still want to know other people's hell jobs! ?
-
Actually, one thing that keeps me going is that I have a purpose in life that requires money, so I'm using this job as fuel. That's the reason why I don't quit, the pain will be worth it because I'm doing something on the side that makes me happy, but hey, job is not less hellish!

Hey. I remember Ross talking about his "hell jobs", and as I'm currently having a hard time at work, for some reason it would make me feel better knowing that other people are suffering too in their hell jobs. I work as a checkout person in a hypermarket. I'm trying my best but I'm standing there 7 hours a day (10 hours some sundays), 6 days a week, taking shit from clients. My boss is not too bad, I had worse, but he is annoying. I know it may not sound too bad but I'm struggling in this one. What is or was your hell job? Any interesting anecdotes? Share your job, share your pain.

I bet there are many of you that played this game back in the day, maybe you have forgotten about it, so I hope I can bring you back some awesome memories. A great real time strategy game from 1998, by Bullfrog. This video explains it perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSDDWkyEBvU What amazes me about this game is its alive multiplayer community since the early days, even when EA shut down the online servers. The community made their own matchmaker, there is a ranking system, a clan system, tournaments and more. The learning curve is steep for the players that want to get to the top ranks, but there are players of all ranks, and many fun matches waiting for you. The community embraced the game, made a lot of fixes for it. Currently, there is a beta version of the game only available through the matchmaker, it improves many aspects of the game and it's offering some new game modes that were considered impossible back in the day. Well, the video says it all, but if you are interested in discovering it (or re-discovering it if this game was part of your childhood like many of us), I will leave some links below. You can get the game in GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/populous_the_beginning This is the multiplayer community, with its forums and various downloads, map maker and stuff: https://www.popre.net/ Good luck!

The video is 4 years old but I just came across it. I couldn't stop thinking about what would be Ross' reaction to this, I think he would love to do this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0-UR3FVH1E I'm sorry if this has been already posted.

Here is mine! Motherboard: Asus M4A88T-M/USB3 Processor: QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 965, 3415 MHz RAM: 8gb DDR3 1333MHz Video: ATI Radeon HD 7750 (getting it tomorrow, so right now I'm with the integrated one, the HD 4250) I'm the kind of guy that likes to play in medium settings and I'm not planning to play the newest games, like GTA V, so I'm guess I'm good with this for now. I'm currently working so I will get a chance to keep upgrading it.

Hello, I'm Juan from Argentina. I've been watching Civil Protection and Freeman's Mind since 2009, awesome series, so it feels nice to be here. Alright, have a nice day!
