I don't mind that they borrowed it, the evil in me says they should have destroyed the rebel base this time. -
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens [SPOILERS]

Is it me or anyone else also did not like this one part: the first order failed in exactly the same way as Empire in New Hope. Its 1:1 - they shoot once successfully (Alderaan VS which I presume were Republic core worlds - maybe even Corruscant? there were no mentions on which planets were actually hit) and the second they are about to shoot but everything blows up (they were already pressing the buttons to fire on yavin VS and in the new movie it was like 20 secs before they could fire). Or maybe was this some overarching theme that they are introducing old characters one by one and sticking to something we already have seen? -
Saw the new star wars - can't decide... but lets say 8.5/10 for me. Not gonna go in spoilers but I didn't like some things, but still a great movie!

Did you consider using YouTube for live broadcasts? I haven't used it for broadcasting but there a few good points for it e.g: 1) most people follow you on YouTube, not on twitch, therefore they may accidentally notice that you are broadcasting on YouTube; as I see it you have 1278 followers on twitch and 127k subscribers on YouTube. Speaking from my own experience - I missed the last one because I forgot about it and I rarely use twitch but in the mean time I could be one of those 127k using YouTube at that moment and might accidentally come across that you are LIVE. 2) from what I have heard from streamers - they only use twitch because of the customization - addons, subscriptions etc etc - therefore if you are not planning on using those things and use it just from time to time for a video chat - do you really need twitch? If you would do LIVE gaming that would be different. 3) I'm not sure of this one but could it be that broadcasting on YouTube is a little less of a hustle in terms of video uploading afterwards? Doesn't YouTube automatically offer the option to make the recording available afterwards at the channel? As for questions for the video chat: I know the movie is your dream and a priority - but have you ever at some point considered making some sort of a game (same as the movie, it most likely would be a collective effort too)? With engines like Unreal 4 and Unity being free (well Unity isn't really that free, it has some pro mode for money) and your experience with machinima and modding that wouldn't sound anymore ambitious than a full length feature machinima movie.

Quite a bit of talk in the middle about battleforge and that EA killed it.

Yes, ofc there are already some out, but I bet there will be soooo much more in the future when the GECK will be out! As I understand its scheduled for late 2015/early 2016?

I am 1000% looking for building mods - the vanilla building is very simple (dare I say "rushed and put ingame in the last minute"?) and it needs a lot of work, to be great!

Don't know if it has been posted somewhere already, but you can get Red Alert 2 (including yuri revenge) for free @ origin.

P.S. on posting or not posting videos on youtube - If it were like every few days, than yeah, people could get annoyed and spammed, but if its like once a month than that shouldn't be a problem. Hey, its an extra, at least some people who don't pay attention to the website would know whats going on by seeing new video under my subscriptions.

For questions - you could make Q&A with a video, just on a semi regular basis. Or you could make it a live video chat but have some questions before the live video (so you have something already to talk about and that would already limit the search in chat for questions) chat and than have some people help you by joining in live on like a conference call and talk with you. For video chat - my guess on improving would be to find a way to get the people involved more. Too bad you said in a video once that MMOs don't interest you that much and also not a big fan of "Let's play". Would be great IMHO if you play a MP game with fans and also have some of the closest fans and people you know on a voice chat as well.

Been playing fallout 4 too. Its great but one aspect keeps bugging me and feels weird and somewhat disappointing for me. The visuals - before you jump on me, no, I'm not talking about whether its an improvement from last games. I'm talking about the actual art style. I still probably haven't seen that much, but the style of pre-war facilities (especially talking about military, secured installations, bunkers, vaults etc.) seems very different from fallout 3 and New Vegas (yes, yes, different makers for New Vegas, but they still had the same art style more or less). Those bunkers and other installations with their doors, computers etc. looked awesome for me, but in fallout 4 from what I have seen it looks kinda cartoonish with brighter colors? (e.g. Red Alert 3 anyone?). Vault security looks weird too. I don't know, maybe its just me and others like it, but those games had more appealing art style if you ask me. It feels like they wanted to experiment.

Thanks for the suggestion, might pick up mount and blade when its on sale (or I find a cheap one). The reviews on steam look great!

I just played 2 "interesting ones": 1) Rainbow Six Siege beta 2) The Star Wars: Battlefront Beta Anyone played these? Those are big titles, but It felt disappointing a bit... Not going to buy them tbh. How did others feel? Don't get me wrong, those aren't bad games and will have a lot of players (at least initially).

I think that one is MissionForce: CyberStorm. It is from the '90s, but it was on Windows. yeah, found some vidoe's and it seems its this one indeed, thanks!

I have one... There was this game - some sort of a mech strategy game. You could go on missions and collect materials or destroy enemy mechs. The gameplay itself was turn based (something similar to xcom/ufo series tactical gameplay) in the missions. I remember vaguely that you could during the fight in your turn edit the shields of your mechs in a way that the opponent would either be shooting heavy at your shields or should try to flank you. The game itself was probably from 90s on DOS.

Heya, I'm looking if there are any good games with the Crusader theme out there. Crusader kings II (I also really enjoy other Paradox strategy games) and Stronghold Crusader are ofc on my top list. According to the reviews Stronghold Crusader II is shit and not worth it (unless it maybe drops to 5 dollars on a sale). AoE II also had some Crusader campaigns, I enjoyed those as well. So in short I guess I'm mostly looking for strategy games, well maybe some RPG if there are any? Are there any other games that is a "must play"?
