  1. Leaving the panel off makes CPU temp 70 ℃ instead of 80℃. And I do have decent Thermaltake case with both in and out fans and with top and front sides made out of wire mesh.Do not underestimate convective force when there is temperature difference of 50℃. If you have 70-80 degrees CPU temperature, I think you should be more worried about certain other things rather than the panel...
  2. This video sums up most of what I think of religion. There are also other issues as well, but the main thing is there. That's a rule about religion: ask too many questions and you will be asked to leave.
  3. Its mostly crap, but in the mix there are a few good things as well. E.g. I got RA2 for free once.
  4. It was never proven that they did rig it, but for the publicity and crazy winning videos, they probably did fake those lotteries. You could only prove that with an indepth investigation by the authorities with access to logs and inside information. Otherwise its shady as fuck, hope they actually get jail time since there are some big gambling violations. i'm 99% sure they will lose the business and will have to pay significant fines and maybe even settlements to users.
  5. And? Therefore its not relevant? Many places have just recently picked it up...
  6. So did anyone saw the latest g2a shitfest? It still seems underreported. But quite a few youtubers have already spoken about it. Sadly - many gaming channels on youtube are sponsored in one way or another by g2a... TL;DR - G2A is a marketplace that seems to be getting more and more illegal game cd-keys that have been obtained by stolen CC. And G2A itself could not give a rats ass about it - they even offer a buyers protection (for an extra fee ofc) to provide refunds incase the seller scams you or you key gets invalidated. http://tinybuild.com/g2a-sold-450k-worth-of-our-game-keys
  7. Has there been any generation who said they weren't fucked? More or less, you have all kinds of problems all the time. Its a matter of perception on what is fucked for each person...
  8. Totally wrong actually... 1) main decisions and leaders are apointed by the European Council which basically means the meeting of heads of states/governments (president of the parliament is elected by MEPs) 2) UK contribution is not the largest - its actually like 4th.. 3) least represantion? UK has a lots of voting power in the council. Or you meant something totally different? 4) be more concrete - thats just a vague statement. In my experience UK is actually in the group of ambitious countires who try to force stricter rules and EU legislation on everybody else....
  9. Oh, for goodness sakes, ISIS has about as much to do with Islam as the West Burrough Baptist Church has with Christianity. Granted, the Islamic faith has been tragically prone to radicalization as of late, but much of that is due to instability in the Middle East, as well as the rise of fundamentalism in the last few decades. Besides, blaming large groups of people on this won't fix anything, just make more extreemists who feel like they're being ganged up on. Besides, the weirdest thing about this whole thing is that apparently the perpetrator was a regular at the club, so I can't imagine he was especially religious. ISIS is directly linked with Islam actually. People just say - no, they are not Muslims etc. But they actually are, its a problem inside Islam, but no one wants to admit it and do something about it. Its always easier to say - its not our fault, so we won't do anything. Where are those extremists in Europe coming from? From Muslim communities quite often, people live with them next door, there are radical elements in some of the local religious sites as well etc. Police, intelligence agencies etc won't eradicate the problem, it is only possible by the Muslim community themselves. Unless that changes - sadly there will be more attacks in the future - police and other agencies won't get them 100% before they do it. Even if 1/1000 plot succeeds, it will happen.
  10. How much info there is on this? I have only seen that one trailer with narration which shows absolutely 0 in respect of the actual game. Is it going to be a slightly upgraded CIV5? Beyond earth was such a disappointment - just a mod for civ5 tbh.
  11. It's PUBLISHED* by EA I'll leave Bad Company 2 as a prime example of why you're not exactly right here, BC2 doesn't have the biggest playerbase but it sure as hell is alive and kicking and has next to no hackers in my experience, even today As for Dice, I have enough faith in them to not fuck BF1 up, especially after they gave BF4 much needed support after Hardline's release. The problem with BF4 was that it was rushed out. I really hope it won't be like that again. DICE has done awesome job with their support, patches, community and night maps for BF4. BF still seem to have ~100k or more players (across all platforms).
  12. Lets just hope it will a battlefield game (hardline is not battlefield) and not battlefront. BF4 had its problems (launch was awful to say the least), but later especially with DLCs it become easily like a 8/10 game. Battlefront for many is doomed from the start at its core gameplay...
  13. I didn't see any clear indications of it, but judging that it was still in beta (???) and they stopped working on it, almost surely it means its a money issue and the project (or company) dies. Its a normal process of the business world - if you can't sell your goods or service good enough, you go broke. Its that simple.
  14. I agree, watchdogs in its essence wasn't a bad game, but it wasn't great imho either. It was like 6-7/10. If you can get it at discount, sure its good pick (I wouldn't buy it now after playing it for the full launch price). Ubisoft tries to overhype their games and after that no doubt you will be disappointed. But the problem is - they try to be like others, but they can't really get there. Those comparisons - GTA and watchdogs, skyrim/fallout series and farcry aren't far fetched - they are surely going in that direction, and those titles are one of the leading ones.
  15. CIV beyond earth - as already mentioned, its just a CIV5 mod that resembles Sid's Alpha Centauri which was way more interesting regarding the storyline, voice acting etc. Ubisoft in general - whachdogs were a disaster - totally overhyped to be better than GTA 5, but in reality I found GTA 3 more interesting (the story was meh in watchdogs) with more stuff to do (GTA series have been known to take hundreds of hours to actually do it 100 with all the jumps, secret packages, side missions etc. etc.). Also I have played Farcry 3 - it was so overhyped to be "Skyrim with guns" but in reality it lacked content really bad. Skyrim had 1000x more content if you ask me. And from what I have heard other games have similar problems - division was overhyped and now has shitloads of problems with bugs, exploits, cheaters and balance issues. Fallout 4 a bit - the story was Okish, but first i didn't like the art style (ok, its maybe just a preference), but I'm dissapointed with the skill system (imho its dumbed down) and also at the moment the season pass seems to be a waste of money. I bought the season pass with Fallout 3 and NV in mind which had great DLCs with tons of content. I for one do not agree with Skyrim - imho it lived up to the hype, I enjoyed it a lot, it had really good reviews from both users and reviewers. It has tons of content and its engaging.
  16. Why so? He only got 21 years in prison - the maximum.... Ofc he will be released - because democracy and even mass murderers have rights.
  17. In some ways I could agree, because all prisoners are not lost cause. But its the democracy and the wonderful law system that basically says - oh, you mass murder loads of teenagers in cold blood, ok, its 21 years in prison (not sure how early release works in this case) with living conditions better than loads of people in Europe. Ofc, really bad prisons are the opposite - they generate recidivism e.g. you get a few years for a robbery, you are mixed with bad people, you loose your friends, no one wants to hire you afterwards, inside of the prison has its own "prison rules", so you go out and rob again. And Breivik - are there really anyone who believes that after 21 (ok, less now, or even less if he can get early release for good behavior) he would actually feel sorry for what he did? No normal human can do what he did, imho there is a high chance he would do it again after release. Imho there should be strong penalties like life sentence without the possibility for early release and preferably in solitary confinement for life (yes, I'm cruel) and death penalties for borderline cases.
  18. I think they do have internet, Breivik didn't (or had very limited and monitored access) due to his extremist nature that he will try to recruit others. I think this was the main point and he won. So according to Norway's court killers and terrorists also have rights and its inhumane to isolate a dangerous man. I bet you (although I really hope it will never happen) - when he comes out of prison he will think about doing it all over again.
  19. Wow, this really is the necro of the century - 3 years+.
  20. Not a big surprise - its not the first and not the last gaming site shutting down. The market is so oversaturated with all kinds of webpages trying to make a living (lets be real here, everyone is trying to make a living). Lately it seems that gaming journalism, hosting sites, servers etc is becoming less and less viable - especially if you are employing people. Just look at gametrailers... Back to this site - just look at what they are offering... 1) patches - really? Its just out of date tbh... First of all, you have really loads of people using clients with automatic updates - steam, origin, uplay. Even if you don't have games on any of these systems - a game will most likely have an automatic updater or a way to check for updates and download off the official site. For older games - well it becomes a matter of interest - yes, those are harder to get but if you get lets say 5 downloads a month or maybe even 0 for an 15 year old game - is it really worth the server space? 2) mods - well this is a tricky one - there are many sites, for some games such place as Nexus is the dominant player here. Also Steam workshop is huge competition for many titles. 3) other freeware, demos - same as everything else - there are already a million webpages with it, some of it is on official webpages... So combine all of this with less and less ad revenue (this seems to be the overall trend both on webpages and on youtube) and you get closures.
  21. Autocracy... Why? I truly believe that a strong leader could make a strong and a wealthy country. The difference between this and totalitarianism is that the only thing that is limited is political freedoms. Other freedoms can be left as they are. Many European nations between WW1 and WW2 had authoritarian leaders. As any other utopia it has significant downsides. E.g. it all depends on who the leader is, if he/she is strong enough, intelligent enough and if she works for the benefit of the nation or personal benefit (e.g. wealth, when everyone is poor). If you get the perfect nationalistic leader it should be quite good imho.
  22. That article stated that the development team behind Nostalrius were operating at a loss, and registration for their server was free. So they certainly weren't in it for commercial gain, they may have been accepting donations for server maintenance though. Either way I don't think they were shut down for money reasons so much as Blizzard's legal team just not liking Blizzard IP being used without them gaining from it. Though I do believe that if they aren't offering an alternative to it that it has a right to be. It's like shutting a museum because you've got work featured in it that you're not making money off. What about ad revenue, popularity for other projects etc.? Those are all gains for them. Blizzard has every right to do that. Sure, if blizzard would be shutting down their servers for good, than yeah, I think blizzard should provide it for non-commercial purposes and even than they should take legal action against those who try to monetize their private servers (or take a cut from them). But the game is still going and will be going for lets say another decade at least, so imho they should protect their intellectual property. Take the example of muonline - I don't know how many people actually play the original, but I have a feeling there are more private server players than the original ones. 99% of those servers are monetized money grabs. Don't set a precedent for WOW... Also this goes together with Bliz strict policy of banning botting, gold selling etc.
  23. I haven't played it, but I find it funny that e.g. metacritic score is 53/100 which usually means its shit, but steam reviews are very positive.
  24. Hehe, seems like a cool idea, but why didn't you include PC? I see your point about one or the other, but surely there must be loads of people who prefer neither.
  25. Khan academy - try it, they have loads of subjects but I think Math is their biggest (and I think one they started out all of this). I haven't used it for math for some time, but they had videos, written stuff, as well as tests and examples you can calculate. Imho its one of the top free resource out there. https://www.khanacademy.org/
