Cthulhu tried piss flavoured tacos while the Russians and oranges hate ingesting pine-cones.

Stress? Undiagnosed heart problem? I assume you went to the hospital. Did the doctors have any ideas?

And that brings us gracefully into another well-trodden, but still necessary, vent: Violence in videogames. Why are people so bloody bothered about this? Time and time again, studies PROVE that violence among young people are NOT correlated with the videogames they play. There's probably a higher (though still negligable) correlation between IRL violence and what they see on TV and films (most of my violent fantasies these days are inspired by the SAW films and a basic understanding of psychology, but that's beside the point). Playing a violent videogame is a cathartic experience that can sometimes help let off frustration that could have otherwise been let off in a physical - and dangerous manner. In a rage? Massacre a fuckton of zombies in L4D or similar. If playing Grand Theft Auto makes you want to grab your father's hunting rifle and start taking potshots at passing motorists, then not only are you talking shite, you most likely have been brought up poorly. It's a lack of engagement and interaction between parent and child that is a big factor in said child doing silly and dangerous things. And if it's not parents, it's REAL LIFE people they interact with that contribute to their behaviour, NOT whether or not they shanked a bunch of pixels with a screwdriver in the North Point Mall (which I did many times, for the novelty and funny stabbing animation). And the VAST MAJORITY of people rallying against these types of games don't actually play them, don't generally play videogames, and have pretty shitey morals elsewhere. They can all get tae Fuck. PS conversely it is perfectly fine to have 'reservations' about the exposure of violence in games to your kids (my mother admits she was), but again, it's YOUR job to make sure your child develops a moral compass that doesn't make them as sociopathic IRL as they are in the game.

It's amazing what happens when the word 'Feminism' is mentioned. Without fail xD But yes, I don't think there's much more to be said, before we need a Mod to draw the line. What parts of Asian culture are they using? Are they enforcing it?

One thing that bugged me a bit in TA was the campaign missions being mainly 'Destroy every enemy unit on the map'. Which is fine y'know, but it does tend to fall into repetitiveness at times. The biggest shame for me was the 'Time To Leave' mission in the Core version of Core Contingency. The objective is to survive for 1 hour. Which sounds alright - have at least 2 Krogoth on the go, make sure the hailstorms don't destroy the mission-critical tower, and sit tight. But no, you have to clear the map of Arm. And again, I'm down with that, but it's kinda misleading...I once spent 2 hours on it, thinking "So...I win now?"

Damn straight. People need to go outside and *DO* the stuff they talk about.

Cheers! Just accepted what I assume is you

Started playing the Story Mode of Timesplitters Future Perfect at about 11pm. Finished it up at about 6am. Interesting point: in the haunted house level, there is a soundbite that plays, which is the same as one of the moans the L4D Witch makes.

I haven't actually. How does it compare to TS2? And yeah, I've very fond memories of TimeSplitters

Guilty. It was the generalisation of the movement as a whole that made me nearly burst a blood vessel. But I do agree on the negative sentiment towards the extremists... when people do stupid/horrible things in the name of something - the woman who aborted her six-month foetus because it was a boy and she "didn't want to bring up another monster". That is NOT feminism. That is ignorance and cruelty being passed off as feminism.

Interesting, what sort of shop did you get that from? Then again, Tesco now has an American Candy section... ---- Might grill some burgers.

Thinking about whether or not to chill with the radio on, practice some bass, or play Timesplitters. Knowing my lazy ass, quite possibly the first option.

Anothah glorious mornin' in Coun'y Durham!

On a lighter note: I stopped playing TF2 in 2012 for two reasons: 1. I felt I'd become a little too...obsessed? And my then girlfriend didn't appreciate it, so a little bit of guilt there. 2. I also felt like I was playing the same game over and over again, and got rather bored. Perhaps this was me not having enough variety in the servers I played on, but I genuinely stopped enjoying myself. However, with three years since then, and the amount of updates TF2 goes through, would it be worth venturing back? Does TF2 go through dull slumps now and again? Dunno if I'm sounding silly saying all that, but TF2's comic attitude appeals to me (for the same reasons as to why I love the Timesplitters games). Maybe I'd enjoy it more with mates (knowing that there was once an AF server is awesome). Bleh.

I went to the Central Entertainment Exchange in Glasgow while waiting for my train, and bought Timesplitters Future Perfect for £7. Gonna have some good times with this.

FEZ. Definitely one of the most satisfying-to-solve games I've played in a long time.

Can I have this on a banner too? And this.

Wow, seriously? Is that your experience of Feminism? That's the Westboro Baptist Church of Feminism. I'm stopping myself from blowing a gasket from you calling Feminism a 'fucking joke'.

I was gonna suggest that, but I'm too inexperienced in online FPS's to say it with confidence.
