  1. Spock is acting compromised, buying relatively obscure knockoff dated microchips, wearing unbleached wigs.
  2. Caretaker.
  3. What Rarity said. I don't think any game I mention can be considered 'worst of all time' because I tend not to bother with games that are likely to be contenders for that title. I guess it's more of a name-and-shame of shitey titles: Card Shark on the PS1. It's. So. Dull. I assume my mother bought it for me to balance out GTA2, but I recently tried to play it again, and she said "I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was this bad." It's so twee and uninspiring, it makes you want to go out and make enough friends to play actual card games. Worms Pinball was pretty dire too. A completely unnecessary and lacklustre game that doesn't deserve to be associated with such a franchise.
  4. Stressy.
  5. Meticulous.
  6. In additional other news (and breaking my habit of replying after two posts), just bought a copy of MGS1 from eBay. Gonna get my stealth on.
  7. Either before or after my time, or not in my circles of the time. Whit wuz it? Remember when The Gorn invaded the Change One Word game?
  8. Spock is now captain, programming relatively obscure knockoff dated microchips, buying unbleached wigs.
  9. Completion.
  10. When I took the plunge and went from long hair to short hair, everything felt surreal for about a month or so. ---- In other news, I may or may not have a job and a flat in a couple of weeks' time.
  11. Another Ross Rants would be cool. Also GD.
  12. Please marry me.
  13. Unsatisfactory.
  14. Understanding.
  15. BBC Radio 4, specifically, 'Profile'. Talking about Michel Houellebecq.
  16. Back on Arran, settling in before a busy week.
  17. Tangible.
  18. My new phone is a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. This provided inspiration for giving the phone a name. I've called it 'Central Consciousness'
  19. Catching up on internet in the pub before I get a train to Edinburgh. I'm on a macbook with headphones. I must look like the biggest nerd.
  20. J20 in Wetherspoons.
  21. I'm currently starting this looking-for-jobs lark, so needless to say I'll have stories to tell in due time.
  22. Educational games from school seem to be at the back of everyone's memory! There was one in my primary school that I think was based all around arithmetic. The more you got right, the more..ammo? you got for your ship, and you'd try and shoot down space garbage? something like that. All point and click. There are also some computers from primary school that I only vaguely remember. One was a small Apple that made a high-pitched whine and ran on a pretty old OS. They did have some Performas that had a different start-up chime* to the Power Mac my family had (they looked the same, that beige all-in-one that preceded the iMac). The computer that played the aforementioned game, may have been a PC, IDK, and there was one in the P1/2 class (5-6 years old) that played block colour games, may have used a cartridge. I guess I could try and make rough sketches...?
