  1. My postal ballot paper. Come at me, May 5th!
  2. Warcraft.
  3. When Slender first appeared, I quickly thought you could make an Alien mod for it: the scene where Ripley has to escape the Nostromo by activating the self-destruct, find Jones and get to the shuttle. And then they made Alien Isolation. -- I also thought up a mod for The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction based on the battle sequence from Avengers Assemble. Essentially pick an avenger and blast as much Chitauri ass as you can within a set time, before Stark sends the Nuke into space. Just a small mini-game, would be cool to have online play, so every Avenger can be used. - The main one: The Robot Wars game it deserves. This is essentially Rocket League meets Kerbal Space Program. You construct a robot from a vast library of parts and have it do battle in an arena. -A career mode lets you play through progressively harder seasons, making you choose between keeping your robot the same, or improving it to keep up with the evolving robot trends. -Instant Battle is pretty self-explanatory. Any 2 or more robots, any arena. -Classic Wars mode lets you play as the robots from the original 6 seasons, including various iterations of the robots themselves and the Arena. -Variety mode contains different battle types: Battle Royale, Eliminator, Ant-weight, weapon frenzy, etc. And then there's the Advanced Roboteer mode, which may have to be sold separately due to sheer complexity and size. This is a CAD software complete with testing parameters. You build the robot from the ground up, with extreme flexibility in component placement (precise placement of batteries, cables, circuits etc), and can run basic testing. You then import it into the main game and can use it in any mode except classic. It is about as user-friendly as your average CAD/Modelling software, and is not recommended for casual players or those who have no experience in CAD. This would not be a cheap game to produce.

  5. Our Streets: - Boost bass guitar. Try boosting the midrange, it should make it more present without overpowering. - Clean electric guitar needs reverb. - Distorted electric guitar should be lower down in the verses. - Vocals are a bit buried. Keep The Sight: - Same Bass boost as above. - "Stand up!" There's an errant note drop on "Up". Can anything be done to fix that? It's my fault. - Clean guitar needs some sort of ambience - a 'room' style reverb? - After the solo, the main riff should have the same effect as the solo.
  6. Nowt like ya kna.
  7. It was sunny today, then all of a sudden, snow. Then sunny again.

  9. Kinda bland. Typical British weather.
  10. Update: I've found some open-source software that is able to record the footage with minimal FPS slowdown. I now have the primary footage recorded, though I won't be surprised if I have to do some re-shoots. Next - put together, then do some audio replacement, and consider the feasibility of dialogue. Safe to say, I don't sound like Ross Scott... It's going to be pretty average quality, but this is essentially a test to see if it'd be worth investing in the necessary resources to make it as good as I'd ideally want it to be. #2: Time to get stuck in with lovely lovely sound editing! I've found a library of .wav files taken from TS2, which will help me no end, as some segments have background sounds I feel get in the way. If I make a full episode, they'll be vital. Still no idea how I'll get Freeman's voice done though. I don't know if I could manage a Ross Scott impression..maybe a generic American accent with an attempt at copying his mannerisms.. #3: I've just come across this. Interesting coincidence.. http://www.moddb.com/mods/half-life-2-timesplitters

  12. FIFA 16 with my mate. There's so much you have to hold in your head at the same time, and I keep accidentally shooting because I thought I was still in tackle mode.

  16. Rosalie - Gilded Thieves. Quite a simple song, but boy is it catchy. Shame they haven't done a proper recording of it, it was so much fun to play tonight.
  17. I'd love to get married to a pankek. Damn intolerant Facebook!
  18. @Jeb - Sky Customer Service. I'd have to deal with people calling up asking why their internet doesn't work, and reply with "Have you tried turning off and on again?" Decent pay, and the hours shouldn't interfere too much with my music. But we'll have to see if I get it first! OT: Two things: 1 - Feeling great. Had a lovely gig depping in Gilded Thieves. There's a chance I'll be asked to play on one of their recordings at some point, which is awesome. The headline act, Laura Cortese & The Dance Cards were fab, had a great chat with them afterwards. 2 - Feeling mildly disturbed. I've just had a friend request on Facebook by someone who - by the looks of their friends' posts - died 5 years ago. What, how, and why?

  23. A kind of neutral. A lot of built-up frustration and anxiety got on top of me yesterday, and I lost the plot for a few hours. And today I applied for a job and passed a phone interview, with a one-on-one assessment to be arranged soon. So..I guess things are looking up..?

  25. K4 is in fact the most advanced AI ever created, and resides solely within the Internet.
