  1. Interesting comment on YouTube: "Ross let's list non-MMO games that will no longer exist in a few years. I'll start with some recent and fairly recent ones: - Destiny - Titan Fall - Star Wars Battlefront - The Division - The Crew - Ghost Recon Phantoms - Quake Wars (console ports) What else." I wonder if, say, Destiny got shut down, would that bring this issue to a more mainstream audience? As someone who doesn't play Destiny, how likely would it be to get shut down?
  2. ^ Agreed. The worst case scenario of this project is getting tarred with a brush that undermines the credibility of Accursed Farms, Ross and all of his fans and supporters. We don't need to worry about the core community - from what I've seen here, everyone is smart enough to follow the rules and tackle everything intelligently. What I'm worried about are the types of people who attend a peaceful protest and start fighting the police escort, because that is what everyone else will focus on (it's what happened at the march I attended last year - it only made the news because a couple of troublemakers were arrested). I hope something good comes from this.
  3. Happy Birthday to our Sinister Lord admin! May he continue to fix our forum with unsettling subtlety!
  4. Find the nearest vending machine, and smash it open. Out of all the hundreds of coins, there should be some that fit, surely! How do I survive the final shift in Five Nights At Freddy's?
  5. Agoraphobic Nosebleed: Banned from most stadiums worldwide, the performance only works with large venues. The audience is saturated in a mixture of blood and mucus. Next band: The Pastures

  7. Granted, but you can't tell anyone what it is. I wish I was better at drums.

  10. I'm afraid I'm only experienced in more general DAWs, so there's not much I can say :/ Would be cool to hear what you come up with -- Just made a cover track of a song we did wayy back in College. Sent it off to my mate who sings, and another who's good at guitar solos. Need to tweak the MIDI drums though, but for a 2-hour effort, pretty happy with the results. By the way, Jeb, where's my challenge tune?!
  11. I managed to find them again All handwritten. I find handwriting easier for more intense writing, like for essays. I also have about a quarter-finished script of the original episode I was planning, but those pages are back on Arran. Sadly I can make you use of these scripts as I found my laptop can't handle PS2 emulating and screen recording at the same time.

  13. May or not be listening to my band
  14. Here's a short documentary on the Isle Of Arran, where I grew up. It's very once over - you could easily make a follow up episode or two with all the bits they didn't mention. I'm amazed this got made to be honest - Arran never gets on the telly. A few fun nuggets: I've been onstage with Stuart Gough in a musical, and his wife was my English teacher, the most positive person I've ever known. Calum McNicol I think is the brother of a lass in my year at school. Lady jean Fforde's husband Charlie 'Farlie' owns much of Arran's land. He's..not the most well-loved man on the island. The small island you can see at the top of Goatfell is owned by a group of Buddhists. In Lochranza, the sheep roam free. Scotland's first No-Take fishing zone is in Lamlash Bay. We have our own beer, whiskey, and have recently started producing sake. Arran indeed does have great beaches. Except Brodick. They mined the foundation for Chinese export in the 80s. They ignored the warnings by science. They were foolish. RIP Brodick beach. My home is near a waterfall. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01mm3bn/grand-tours-of-scotland-series-3-1-scotland-in-miniature-the-isle-of-arran

  18. Granted, but you don't get to explore the uncharted areas. I wish the Futurama tube system was real.
  19. inb4 political debate. Seriously guys, not here. mmkay? I SAW THAT. Wheesht. OT: I'd go for Vanish. If it can bring Markiplier to tears of fear and frustration, it should provide the desired experience. It doesn't ask for a particular person, so imma dodge that particular bullet. Would you watch a movie shot in first-person?

  22. I'm worried about my friend back on Arran. He's hit a pretty intense low (I think he's Bipolar), and while it's unlikely he's going to do anything extreme, he's got an arse of a situation. See, when kids on Arran reach his age, the majority of them flee to the mainland for College/University/jobs. He went to Glasgow for a bit a coupla years back, but had a turn and was forced to come back to Arran where he's been since. Most of his friends have left, and naturally don't come back often - they have new lives now. He lives in one of the more remote parts of the island too, so he's both lonely and isolated. Add to that a turbulent family situation, and it's no wonder he feels trapped. I wish I could do more to help him, but I'm about 200 miles away, and I don't want to jump into the standard slew of reassurances, for fear that he not only won't believe me, but find it patronising. He needs good people around him, but there aren't any - they're all in another part of the country.
