  1. ...I dunno who the guy in the video was, but Freeman's voiceover was brilliant.
  2. Sounds about right Maybe both shouts should make it into that trailer. Put the "how many do I have to kill" right after the self-defense statement, then the "blow everything up" after the montage. Although it could've very well been "kill everyone to prove I'm not crazy" given Freeman's sociopathic tendencies
  3. Fucking Ninjas, man! Those stats need to make it into a trailer for the series: 1 free man... 1 incredibly unlikely intergalactic coincidence... 600-odd counts of self-defense with an automatic weapons... cut to the scene where Freeman shouts : "I have to kill everyone to prove I'm not crazy!" A 7 year odyssee in 68 parts - one man on a mission to get home. Freeman's Mind - giving Gordon a voice. Now streaming to a device near you! crowbar and weapons not included, sanity sold seperately
  4. What a finale, especially the hidden ending. Loved the technical bits and comments, too. What game was it again? I'll keep hoping for FM2, the setting alone makes for more socialist jokes than I can imagine...
  5. Just had to register, but also a long-time lurker here who's been around since the first episode. That the idea to give a mute character a voice and brilliant (if borderline psychotic and misanthropic at times) cynical character has garnered such a loyal fanbase and following speaks volumes about its creator and his abilities. For me, Ross isn't just the voice of The Freeman but I've come to expect the character to be as Ross plays him as well: a brilliant, highly intelligent scientist with lots of cheerful facts (not only about the square of the hypothenuse ) and a healthy dose of scepticism. If Valve ever decides to give Gordon a voice, they'll have big shoes to fill indeed. I fervently hope for a continuation of FM in HL2, although I wouldn't mind a few quick jaunts through the "Across The Universe" idea either - the thought of those shenanigans alone is enough to make me giggle and the ending of HL offers a great jump point for it. Whatever Ross' next project will be, I'm sure it'll be great, though.
