What would Freeman's reaction have been if he had blown up the microwave in the beginning of Half-Life?

Some of them do that thing where it blacks-out and shows the area of sight within the scope, and it often does the same thing you've described whilst peering through iron-sights. I don't really have a preference one way or the other. Do you think it makes aiming easier? It would definitely look cooler and more realistic. It might even be helpful too, since you can see a lot more.

Here's a small thing I notice constantly which annoys me for some reason: Scope zoom which zooms in the entire screen, not just the area in the scope. Even the Sniper Elite games do that!

I think it is possible to beat Half-Life with just the crowbar. Also, after seeing the Half-Life I'm starting to wonder whether a pacifist run would be possible. You would have to use a lot of bugs and exploits though.

I'm finally fed up with my glasses enough to consider getting contact lenses, but I'm still not really comfortable with the idea of sticking objects in my eyes. Is there anyone here who has firsthand experience and can tell me about some of the pros and cons of contact lenses?
