Holy crap, we're getting actual snow today.

I had the idea of a Half-Life remake in an open world, so after the disaster you would have to find your own way outside, while also taking care of a few "side quests" (like launching the sattelite, or maybe saving some scientists). Black Mesa is really huge, and I think it would be pretty cool to be able to explore the entire facility, although it might get a little maze-like.

I had an awesome lucid dream recently: I was in a big supermarket, just running around, punching and dropkicking random people who couldn't do anything about it because they were in MY shop! I then went to some guy who was standing at the cashier conveyer-belt thing, with a box of cereal and a carton of eggs. I didn't like the look of him, so I threw the cereal away and smashed the carton of eggs and went "Aww, all these eggs are smashed!" and then poured it out over him. He then left and came back with a new carton, so I smashed that one too and said "AWW, ALL THESE ONES ARE SMASHED TOO!". Then I was trying to think of some more ways to irritate people, so I turned into a hot lady and started making out with a random woman. I'd be the best business owner ever!

Okay, any amateur codebreakers here, tell me if you can decode this: Ah, love. Yours. Though still real, near, feeling. Quiet voice, holding my right key, never blinking. Every great union feels quiet empathy, feels righteousness over every individual love. An oath to me, love, warming Xmas.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts on Far Cry 2, a game which is very very flawed gameplay-wise, but which I think more than makes up for it with its atmosphere. I was very impressed with it because it really doesn't make you feel like a hero; despite everyone around you and the people you kill being much worse than you and you even having the chance to do a few good deeds, you are more like a horrible bad guy who is part of the problem, not the solution. The entire game carries a certain nihilism to it that I just haven't seen yet in any other game, where everything you do, no matter how big, feels insignificant in the long run. And yet it is an amazing experience in one of the most beautiful (peaceful and at the same time horrifying) enviroments I've seen in video games.

Too bad Skate 3 is console-exclusive, I'm sure you would love it. It's a skateboarding game (duh!) but has a gamemode where the entire point is to hurt yourself as brutally as possible and upon impact you see an X-ray of your skater to highlight the part of your skeleton you just broke, complete with nasty crunching sound (it's called Hall of Meat).

I'm not huge into RPGs, so I'll probably not have a lot of good answer to this, but I'd like to imagine that in the Left 4 Dead universe I'd be a Fallen Survivor (one of those guys in the DLC that carry lots of supplies) because I always carry a lot of crap around with me.

To me one of the worst things abot being ill is sitting next to someone in public (like on a train, in class, etc.) and feeling like an awful disgusting mucus factory, constantly coughing, sneezing, and blowing your nose, knowing that you're making the person sitting next to you really uncomfortable. Also, am I the only one who feels like if someone coughs, and you cough immediately afterwards, people think "Oh wow, look at that copycat"?

I'm sick and I keep coughing up snot all day. But it's Christmas, so how could I be anything other than happy! Merry Christmas everybody! W00000!

Selfsurprise, you are friggin' awesome. I wish I could write with that same kind of creativity as you. OT: I want to rant about a specific person who is probably my nemesis, and who has managed to get this title without ever even saying a word to me. However, the overwhelming feelings of helplessness, sadness, and pure hate I feel whenever I think about that person would really ruin my mood.
