Attempting pixel art

(Originally wrote this as a reply to rliant in the "Post what you're doing" thread, then realised this is the better place for it) I recently found out I have the same problem. What scares me is that some of the worst physical pain I've ever had to endure had to do with my teeth. Like the one time I had surgery and the anaesthetics didn't work properly, or the time I had some teeth removed as a kid and they literally had to jam the syringe through the top of my mouth and I think even through my skull. The absolute worst things happend at my orthodontist's though... I don't even remember what exactly it was, just that I was crying like a little girl and only wanted the pain to stop. I hope I didn't scare you, rliant! Just remember that I will be sharing your pain... sort of...

Well Protestants obviously don't care about the Pope, and I don't think every Catholic does either. To us Protestants (or at least to me) the current pope is just a cool dude who preaches the right thing (usually), although I/we think only one man alone should be representing an entire religion, and for Christianity that is Jesus Christ himself. Is British food really as bad as everyone says?

Last night I dreamt that I was back in school and a bunch of people, including myself, had met on the playground to surprise a teacher by singing "Hava Nagila" for him. As it turned out, only one person even knew the lyrics. It was really awkward, but he still appreciated it.

Had a mild headache all day, but still glad to be back home.

I think tatoos look best if they are about something that is very important to you, as opposed to just being for decoration. So generally whether getting a tattoo is a good or a bad thing depends on the tattoo itself. That being said, for me the only thing I'd have tattoed (and I'm sorry for bringing religion into this AGAIN) is a symbol of my christian faith. I have some cool ideas for the design and where I'd put it, but the problem is that on the other hand there's a bible passage that says tatoos are bad [citation needed!]. I'm not gonna think worse of a person just because he/she has a tattoo though, its just something I personally wouldn't do.

Games I'd like to have, games like F.E.A.R., Bioshock, Dead Island and many others. I want to play them. I want to buy them. But there is a problem: MOTHERF***ING GERMAN CENSORSHIP C***S ONLY MAKING LOW-VIOLENCE VERSIONS OF GOOD GAMES AVAILABLE IN GERMANY THEY TAKE THE BEST PART OF GAMES LIKE LEFT4DEAD 2 AND WORLD AT WAR AND THROW THEM IN THE F***ING BIN WHAT THE F*** IS THE POINT OF A NON-VIOLENT SHOOTER? AND SOME GAMES, LIKE DEAD ISLAND DON'T EVEN SHOW UP IN THE STORE PAGE AT ALL I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS BULLF***ING HORSES*** AND DON'T TELL ME THAT I CAN JUST INSTALL A PATCH - I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DOWNLOAD S*** JUST TO GET THE FULL GAME EXPERIENCE. ITS LIKE EVERYONE ON THE ENTIRE WORLD CAN HAVE CHEESE ON TOAST AND I CAN HAVE ONLY TOAST. Also, being bi-lingual I like to play games in both German and English WELL GUESS WHAT SOME OF THESE GAMES HAVE THE LOW-VIOLENCE VERSION ONLY AVAILABLE IN GERMAN THIS IS THE KIND OF S*** THAT LEADS TO PIRACY. THIS IS THE KIND OF S*** THAT LEADS TO LOST SALES ...uh, wow. I'm usually pretty calm, but this subject... sorry about that. Well, I guess it could be worse- I heard Australia is even more strict! BUT THEY DON'T CENSOR ALL NAZI REFERENCES, SO THEY AT LEAST GET THE SATISFACTION OF NON-VIOLENTLY "KILLING" NAZIS EDIT: Wow, I really feel a lot more calm after posting this! This Vent thread works!

The last dream I had was pretty cool. It was in kind of a medieval-fantasy setting and my king and some of his men were running through a graveyard and fighting zombies/draugr. I saw the entire thing from an RTS-like birds eye view, which was really cool. Anyway, we were running up to an old castle, where a rival king was also fighting zombies, so we knew the only way to beat them was if we fought together (like in Army of Darkness). So I had to protect the kings as they developed a plan, when I suddenly turned into a giant and started bitch-slapping groups of zombies. Then a giant zombie appeared and we started fighting. I beat the shit out of it. The end! My personal interpretation: The fact that I was fighting for someone else and winning might have something to do with how a friend told me that I helped him a lot just a few hours before I went to sleep. I still feel like a badass thinking about that dream

I'd blame you every time the Source SDK crashes and I forgot to save my work in Hammer. If people with green eyes were finally recognized as superior to people with any other eye colour, and a new social hierachy was created where everyone with eyes that are not green were slaves to their green-eyed overlords, and also all other colours (except for white and black) were banned?
