  1. I think because I was always watching the G-Man Squad and other Half-Life machinima Freeman's Mind suddenly popped up in the Related Videos thing, so one day I decided to give it a try and I have loved it ever since! I don't get it, but I'm sure it was a compliment. Thank you!
  2. I decided to stop discussing politics or religion on the internet, but I absolutely have to make an exception here. Are you seriously suggesting that the Catholics caused the holocaust? None of the nazis were religious. They have tried using religion to win more people for their sick cause, sure, but as soon as they were done murdering all Jews, they would have gone for the Christians. There is/was no such thing as a Catholic nazi. There is/was no such thing as a religious nazi (unless you consider national socialism a religion like Christianity, Buddhism,...). A quote by Pope Pius XI: -right, maybe that wasn't their mindset during the crusades, but that shows that the times have changed. I also recommend this friggin' common knowledge that is a Wikipedia article, which disproves a whole lot of what you said. Also, "Mein Kampf" was pure propaganda -that is the reason it even exists and why you can't just believe what it says. Hitler was an opportunist, he would have said anything to get people to join his party. On the topic of The Passion of the Christ that you cited as a propaganda film created by the Catholic Church: A quick Wikipedia search gives this quote by "A joint committee of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Department of Inter-religious Affairs of the Anti-Defamation League": And another quote by Senior Vatican officer Cardinal Darío Castrillón Hoyos: Religion, if done right (examples include Gandhi, Pope Francis, Christ himself,... ) is supposed to give people hope and strength to carry on through hard times in their lives, to give them a reason for existing, to teach them that others, no matter who or what they are, also deserve respect and love and that you should share that love with them. Of course there are a lot of examples of religion being used to justify bad things, but there are probably a lot more examples of religion being used to justify good things. Think of all the charities for example! As for ISIS, I have my own conspiracy therory here, as I don't think these people really know what their religion is about themselves. Also, why are we even discussing this? REFUGEE IMMIGRATION - GOOD OR BAD? Lots of people seem to think that everyone will turn Muslim if we get more refugees. I think that's bollocks. I also think that the only proper solution to this problem would be integrating these millions of refugees into society, which sadly sounds pretty impossible. So... I'll just go back to not discussing these kinds of things.
  3. What always bothered me about Fallout was the Sci-Fi elements mixed in with that 50's vibe. I think there is just too much of a contrast there, but I know a lot of people love it.
  4. I think it was just years of being bitter and angry at everyone that literally disfigured me (it was probably mostly durig these few years that I have absolutely no memory of, but where I'm sure something happened in that time that changed things forever). Well at least the left side of my mouth still works properly! (Also, I don't hate everyone anymore)
  5. Banned for expecting the Spanish inquisition.
  6. I'd just like to hear Ross' opinion on Homefront, because that is probably the worst game I have ever played.
  7. So I shaved my head bald again and suddenly girls talk to me again. I also realised that I can't smile properly because one side of my mouth is really messed up and has a weird shape, so instead of smiling the right side of my face looks like I'm about to kill everyone.
  8. Long enough to see THE MOVIE. After that I can die, whatever. Have you ever accidentaly said an embarassing thought out loud?
  9. My accent often depends on my mood. It's usualy a mix of British, American and German
  10. Subject #18: Well I know how horrible and sick it sounds, but let's be serious: torture is sometimes the only smart thing to do. It of course doesn't work when you're just trying to get someone to answer a yes/no question, but imagine a scenario in which some little kid gets kidnapped. The police find the kidnapper (he admitted it was him), but not the kid. Time is running out, no one knows where to look. And the kidnapper only says "Ha! You'll never find him!" In this case, I'd say just waterboard the shit out of him. What's the alternative? Ask nicely? Tell him he'll go to prison?

  15. Banned for being immortal.
  16. I dreamed I was about to have a threesome with two hot girls. One of them took a long time to get ready and, of course, before anything interesting happened, I woke up in my bed just as my girlfriend was leaving. I then woke up again in my other bed and realised I don't even have a girlfriend.
  17. To be fair, a lot of us heterosexuals are pretty (annoyingly) vocal about their sexuality as well.
  18. Nice story, Zaraki. Might wanna put some more descriptions of the environment in there, but I definitely feel the atmosphere! I used to write a lot. Poems, stories, songs, everything. Maybe I can still find a few of the English poems I made for school... Anyway, for now, here's an abondoned project from a few years ago. My writing style was kinda crappy.
  19. Be happy. It's more fun that way
  20. That's my mindset when I play Hitman
  21. 8/10 - The loop isn't perfect, but it's better than everything I have ever attempted in SFM.
