Oh hell yeah! 1. Primary weapon - An MP5. automatic fire and and lightweight all the way. An M1 Garand for long range killing 2. Secondary weapon - A Para .45 handgun and a machete. 3. Stronghold - A warehouse. Wide space, reinforced steel doors, crates and containers to be used as barricades, hardware tools are present and a storage room for resources like food, ammo and other needs. 4. Vehicle - Gonna need a Humvee, or a customized Hummer for the job 5. Outfit - Anything comfortable and all black. 6. Companion - Ross Scott. Like Selfie here with Brian Blessed, I need someone to shout zombies away with lines from Freeman's Mind, as well as a guy with humour. 7. Battle Music - Either Tiptoe Through The Tulips by Tiny Tim or Muffin Man by Frank Zappa 8. 3 Additional Supplies - My guitar. Gonna need something to ease my mind My books to keep my mind at work and lastly, a solar panel array to keep the warehouse powered up

^At least you got Flash Gordon in your head. I woke up to the theme of Dora The Explorer in my head, and I haven't heard that in a decade, but why?

Feeling frigging good! I went to this record store with some friends, and we were drooling over the LP's there. This is the most LP's we've ever seen! We look like kids in a candy store. We hope to go back there next week with some cash and buy a record or two.

You got the definition alright. There are two ways of doing it. Like recording your voice twice, or you can do automatic double tracking just so you can double the one track you recorded. There are videos in YouTube that can help you make a good double track recording.

I wanna yank my modem off the wall and throw it off the window now.

OMG a ThinkPad!!!! I miss those. My dad had a couple of those babies for his old work, from IBM to Lenovo. I'd take the Trackpoint over the trackpad anyday. @Vappy: Same with my dad's T60, comes with Vista sticker, yet runs XP. It was the last ThinkPad he used sadly.

To quote Brad Jones: "SERIOUSLY, HOLLYWOOD. WHAT THE FUCK?" At least the 1st related article tells me exactly what to do if ever I watch it.

Didn't Shaka Zulu drive his army to a cliff as a test of discipline/loyalty? -

Caligula is probably my most favorite historical figure. The man was beyond erratic, his ego beyond god-like. So much so, he went as far as to proclaim himself as a god, and believed himself to being entitled to behaving like one. This paragraph I found says it all. I still can't bring myself to finishing the 1979 movie though. The one with Malcolm McDowell as Caligula. It's too hardcore even for me, it's the only movie were I cringe at the most brutal scenes. As it stands, i'm happy enough to just watch the Cinema Snob review of it. If we're talking modern times, one name that pops out in my mind, next to Hitler, is the late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. The man declared martial law over the Philippines and stayed in the presidency for 20 years, his critics and his political rivals were either arrested, turned up missing, or killed, crony capitalism especially amongst his relatives, extravagant spending, (mostly his wife's doing) accusing the Beatles of snubbing the Presidential Family (again, his wife stirred up that drama) I can go on, but this is all I can think of from my head. What really makes that man memorable for me is the people's divided opinions about him. There would be people who'd proclaim him as the best president the Philippines ever had and that the martial law period as the time when the Philippines was at it's most progressive, for lack of better word. Then there are people who blame him for bringing this country down to its knees, violated human rights during his presidency, and putting us in monumental debt by the time he was ousted. While we're talking about history here, I wanna share one of my favorite history sites here. It's a series of biographies dedicated to some of the maddest monarchs in history, from murderous kings to queens who caress their husband's rotting corpse: http://madmonarchs.guusbeltman.nl/madmon.htm Speaking of which, shouldn't Ivan the Terrible be in the poll too? He was really batshit insane in his time. -

I'm not really into game soundtracks that much, but I can appreciate some of them, especially ones with no lyrics. The Sims 1 and 2 soundtrack as well as the Max Payne theme are my favourites. Me and some of my friends started jamming together in this makeshift studio. Just 3 guys with guitars doing some 12-bar stuff. I hope to record some of our jam soon, we just need to set up the recording equipment first.
