I'll have to admit, I was struggling a bit by B4. Like i needed to breathe. I used to be able to do a high falsetto, but age and not caring for my throat that much limited my ability to do falsetto and my head voice. Also, I should mention i couldn't sing, I wanted to know just how high or low my voice can go. I didn't have much interest in vocal ranges in music before 'til I bumped into a Youtube vid breaking down Freddie Mercury's vocal range. There was even a research paper done on his vocal range recently, along with the techniques Freddie used in his singing here, where it was suggested his singing voice ranged from F#2 to a G5. All fascinating stuff, I must say. Y'know, in light of the research they did on Freddie's voice. I wanna see that kind of research done on oktavists. I wanted to know how someone like Mikhail Zlatopolsky could reach notes as low as a B0 from the Prayer for the Dead. I'm honestly jealous of bass singers. Countertenor's alright, but i love that feeling of depth, or weight when I hear bass vocals.

I was just checking out what my vocal range is through this video: 9IejHKpfHso Apparently, with my voice ranging from F3 to D5, I'm under the alto range. Anyway, anyone like to know how high/low they can sing?

Well with so many of my music heroes dying these past months (Bowie, Glenn Frey, Keith Emerson etc.) but yeah, I guess this thread is a good place to celebrate their memory. I'm sure some of you guys heard of the death of Nick Menza recently. He was the drummer for Megadeth from '89 to '04. He died while from heart failure while doing what he loves, performing live. May this man rest in peace.

Stark's Mind: a series years in the making.
AP_Pastor replied to NioA's topic in Machinima in general
I've just watched the 1st four episodes, I'm loving the direction you're taking this series. The seriousness, the emotions Stark felt and how he reacts to situations is a breath of fresh air from the neuroticism and wisecrack personality of Gordon. Makes this series feel real to me. Also, the idea of Stark standing in for Gordon is an interesting concept, kinda reminds me of Felix's Mind in a way. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes. My only complaint is that background noise when you talk. It felt distracting when I hear that noise while you're talking, and when it disappears after you're done talking. That aside, keep it up!!! This series has potential! -
I was thinking more of the former. Misanthropy's alright, I guess. Makes interesting characters.

#25 I'm kinda mixed about being friends with either of the three. But if they're the kind who don't try to shove their ideals down my throat, or has a sense of humour and doesn't take the homophobia and/or racism too seriously, I guess I can give them a chance. Hateful person is another story. I wouldn't go near one.

I never liked to watch live streaming "live" mainly because my net here wouldn't handle it. The 1st time I went to one of Ross's live videochats, I'd keep lagging in intervals, 10 seconds at best. The longest lag time I got was 5 minutes. Another reason was time. In the case of the videochats, 4pm EST is around 4am from where I am, which is why I appreciate the idea of being able to leave questions in the replies in Ross's videochat announcement thread. I've never completed a playthrough at all. For playthroughs that are segmented into parts like with Game Grumps, i'd usually watch 5-10 episodes depending on the game, or if i'm interested in what Arin, Danny, Jon, Ross etc. were talking about.

I think the closest we got to Ross being in Twitter would be Magda's Twitter page. I got news about some of his streams through her.

I'll agree that anyone could do videos of the silliest mods on this side of the internet, I'd do one if I had the time. But AJW's style, which I consider minimalistic in terms of commentary, makes it hilarious. He simply lets the mods do the talking (or screaming in some cases) with him sprinkling a bit of his sarcasm in text.

So I tried these lucid dreaming audios last night while sleeping. It's like something is trying to escape my body, but failed as soon as my brain became aware of what's going on.

Dead Game News: Episode 2 (Disney Infinity, Project Spark)
AP_Pastor replied to Ross Scott's topic in Other Videos
^ +1 for that idea Also, if you don't mind us suggesting, It might also be a good idea to post links of your sources in the descriptions for viewers to get a detailed information the game in question. That aside, great work with the news report, Ross. Keep it up -
He just wants to separate the news videos from his other videos. Anyway, here's another news: Microsoft will be shutting down Project Spark's online service on August 12 2016. While the game can be played, its access to content stored in its cloud storage is cut. http://kotaku.com/microsoft-kills-project-spark-1776573028?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Facebook&utm_source=Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow http://venturebeat.com/2016/05/13/microsoft-is-pulling-the-plug-on-project-sparks-online-services/

About Freeman's Mind being done in HL: Source, to keep it short, HL: Source has more features compared to Goldsrc (ragdolls, better lighting, water detail etc.) And I think the Source Recorder may be part of the reason why he used that version.

Aside from email, is it alright if we send you news on dead games in this thread as well?

^Oh god, that movie. It was based off a sketch from a noontime variety show. Don't ask me about the plot, i'm willing it off my memory. (Happy Birthday! btw) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Fagan_incident Some guy managed to breach Buckingham Palace twice, had an "audience" with the Queen, and upon arrest, was only charged with a theft of a bottle of wine than for trespassing.

This is the 1st time i've ever felt excited for a videogame in a long time. The idea of a FPS shooter taking place in WWI is the icing in the cake for me. Here's hoping the game's gonna be good upon release.
