Hello,
I'am a young student at college studying Computer Science i live in North Africa and my story is that every game for us is very very expensive it's like half a normal rent and we don't even have a way to pay online and i have a gamer's soul so all my life has been searching for free games or just watching videos of other people playing so i decided to make game development my career so i can finally make good games and be able to play them and i think i'm in the right way. I started small working on flash games to find out that it was quite a hard process the first big game i'am working on is an Action-platformer (Metroid, Castlevania, Megaman like game).
I also made two games Human Invasion (48h Game made for Ludum Dare 48 i think) and The Only Way ! (72h Game made for FGL Game Jam) and now i'am working on some puzzle spot the difference game for Mobile, Android.
On the launch of Guild Wars 2 i was really excited watched a lot of streams and videos (Kripp for ex) it lit a huge hype fire in me and it's still burning to this day, being able to play it would lit my days with fun and enjoyment.
I didn't organize the post or anything i just spoke out of my heart.
