  1. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Machinima/FreemansMind "The series' immense popularity spawned a number of copycats, many of which have earned the Approval of God. Notable creators include the "Master Minds", a supergroup that formed to create a sort of continuity between their own, highly-popular Mind spinoffs note with the events of both Shephard's Mind and Barney's Mind receiving subtle shout-outs in the series proper." "...with the events of both Shephard's Mind and Barney's Mind receiving subtle shout-outs in the series proper" To what does this refer?
  2. 'Member when Cartoon Network brought back Toonami as an April Fools prank, and it turned out to be a test run for a revival? This is like that, only better. Thank you, Ross. Also, it's weird to me how Gordon recognized Kleiner, but not Breen. Wasn't Breen his boss?
  3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bureaucracy_(video_game) (Link doesn't work unless you add a parenthese at the end.) Edit: Fixed link.
  4. I'm in love with the idea of higher priced variants on lower priced rewards. There could be a livestream for the lower tiers and a group Skype call for the higher tiers, though the latter might lead to people shouting over each other and competing for Ross' attention. Also, if you pay enough, then instead of getting Ross to say whatever you want.. you get him to SING whatever you want! My younger sister plays the "I am a Very Model of a Modern Major General" clip often, so I bet she'd get a kick out of that. In the far off future where I actually have a job, I can totally see myself paying fifty dollars to hear Ross belt out Sondheim, but he probably wouldn't know the song so I'd have to pay him more than usual to compensate for time spent learning the song..
  5. I just found out about this thing. http://www.gog.com/game/toonstruck It reminds me of Arcade America.
  6. Oh no. It's on Steam now for ten dollars. Does this mean Ross would frown upon pirating it? Does that money go to the original developers? The emulation link is still in the description. That either means it's a-okay to use or Ross forgot to remove it, meaning *gasp* he's human!
  7. Well the irony is you "save" it in HL1 then in HL2 the Earth is still screwed. It's really not until Episode 2 that there's any hint that you're not involved in a futile battle. You can always overthrow a regime you don't like, even if you're outnumbered and outgunned! Don't you remember the plucky young optimists from Les Miserables?
  8. I'm hoping he teleports between a bunch of unrelated games before he actually gets to Xen.
  9. It's weird to me how Gordon doesn't entertain the possibility that he's the last hope for humanity even after he's told directly that he is. He knows that the aliens can teleport. He knows they can't be contained. He knows that the army is too incompetent to do anything. At the very least, America is in trouble. And his response to being told this is "you can just shoot 'em". Gordon's selfish, but he's not an idiot. In fact, his ego should make him more likely to embrace the idea that he's the hero the world needs. Buuuuut what we got was still pretty funny.
