Help needed with finding a game from my childhood.
K4_Kydure replied to K4_Kydure's topic in Gaming in general
Oh thank you so much! Turns out it was Geneforge was the one I've played before, it's all coming back to me now. All my love <3 -
My concern isn't about realism but misinformation. I'm sure you already know about all the different shit storms that spawned due to it. At the very least they could show that the characters have the slightest knowledge of firearms safety. If Payday 2 can do it I'm sure Call of Duty can too.

1. Variations with a fuse that is already too damned short. Holding it for an extra second or two is just asking for it to go off in your face. 2. The way they do it in-game they simply remove the pin without dropping the spoon. The fuse doesn't ignite until the spoon is detached. Holding it then accomplishes nothing. I'm not surprised they would do something that stupid. It reminds me of the latest CoD ad where this one dipshit is holding a knife reverse grip with the blade facing toward him. Unless you're Michael Myers you wont be killing anyone like that let alone in a war zone.

To clarify cooking grenades is a thing but as someone who has a lover and has had most of her family in the military it is recommended that you don't do it for safety reasons do to variations in the fuse. And to contribute to this thread: The Rimworld wiki needs a good kick in the pants in terms of information. It's really annoying going there only to find out it has nothing useful on it.

Just started a small thing based off one of my Rimworld games. She has to be the most awesome character I've had so far. Just a wip right now but I actually think I might finish this one.

Back in the day when Yahoo Games on demand was a thing I remember playing an old isometric game that had these robed dudes that alchemy/magic/bibty bobty boo up some lizards and seven foot tall mud colored brutes to beat the snot out of your enemies. Or at least that's what I can remember. The only thing I could find that vaguely looks like it was this cropped image on an unnamed game. The guy in the robe is what I find most familiar but a friend of mine said that this was a screencap of an mmo. Can anyone help me on this? I know it's not much to work on but it's all I can remember from it.

Are you telling me you can't really go a whole week on a single bag of Doritos? I've been lied too for so long.

Receiver I swear the game doesn't like me playing it. I'm consistently getting more and more flying drones seeing me through walls.

Every Elder Scrolls game is so fundamentally different from each other it's a crap shoot if you're going to like the other games in the series if you like a certain one already. All I can say is watch/read reviews to make an informed decision on it.

Payday 2. Making that money.

It has always been under Discovery, it used to be called Discovery Kids for over a decade until Hasbro formed a joint venture with them in 2009 and would be known as The Hub as soon as everyone's favorite Cartoon Horse Program aired. I remember reading about this back in the infant days of EqD.

I'm a lady. I'm also one of those weird (literally) old-fashion ladies that prefer pre-twentith century dresses over modern fashion. I haven't found anyone who shares that yet. Oh well.

I have Globophobia. Almost everyone doesn't believe me when I tell them I'm afraid of balloons.

That's what happens when a Call of Duty director and a graphic novel/comic book writer try to make a F.E.A.R. game. No really, Steve Niles and Marwan A. Abderrazzaq worked on F.E.A.R. 3. Oddly enough John Carpenter was a storyline consultant for some reason. Some of my other favorites would be the Metal Slug, Ace Combat, Stronghold, RollerCoaster Tycoon, and Ghost Recon franchises. I would add the Soul series of games but I've never played Demon Souls and I thought Dark Souls 2 was absolutely awful.

Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator. Such a cute little game if you can get people to play with.

F.E.A.R. More specifically the first F.E.A.R. and it's expansions. They are my absolute favorite games of all time next to the first three Spyro games. It only breaks my heart even more seeing what both of them have turned into. I also love the Fallout, Company of Heroes, and Dawn of War series.

I know, I meant that she at least worked on all of season 1. After that I started losing interest in the show. I may have worded my statement wrong. I didn't mean to imply she left after season 2, only that the fandom as I knew it changed into something completely different by season 3.
