I hear the original Elite was able to render actual curved geometry rather than triangles pretending to be curves. I wonder if that would be less intensive for GPUs to render than a shit ton of polygons. OT: Watching my boyfriend try to get all A+ ranks on Hotline Miami.

Heh. I'm 8,000 miles apart from mine. And we work out our problems more easily than those who actually don't have to work with distance. Try talking to me again when your boyfriend has gone through years of emotional abuse, seen several of his friends commit suicide, went into the military where the sergeants had a hard on for singling him out, then only to be kicked out of the military because he had schizophrenia for the past several years, forcing him to move countries to even hope to find a job, all while having thoughts of suicide and being separated from the one person who gives a damn about him for seven years. Don't think this shit is easy for either of us.

Hard to do that when you're 1,800 miles apart. Hence why I can't do anything about it.

My boyfriend isn't in the best of moods and there isn't shitting fuck I can do about it. Then it leads to me getting depressed about it and no one is happy. It's just a downward spiral of shitty moods until we fall asleep and forget about when we wake up the next day.

I've seen the problem with the eye before. It stopped me from finishing an image I was working on once. It has something to do with the very start of the animation. What you could do is render a longer version that loops once or twice then cut out the very start of the .gif and sync it from there. Also I recommended using the spoiler tag for images that large.

It might be better to crop out some of the empty space around the edges. You can also try either another render or you can edit the frames with the glitch in Photoshop or some other program that lets you edit .gif files.
