  1. LGR just covered this game called ' '. It's an alleged edutainment gamethat goes to some very odd places.
  2. Probably not. I think Ross has said everything he wants to say about Doom in the Strife video.
  3. I generally don't mind 3D, but I typically find it works better in animated movies. I saw Inside Out last week and the 3D there was amazing, whereas with Ant-Man (most recent live-action movie I saw), it didn't really add anything special. I have yet to really try the Oculus Rift, though it may be hard for me because I need glasses.
  4. I, for one, hope Gordon goes through Anticitizen One and Follow Freeman singing
  5. Half-Life 2 with Cinematic Mod.
  6. I admit, throughout the video, I wondered if Ross was ever part of a cult.
  7. Company of Heroes 2 and Hatoful Boyfriend. (no seriously)
  8. What kind of Cult Classic? An under-appreciated gem like Tyrian or Strife, or the 'MST3K' kind?
  9. My Internet's been unreliable, so I've just been messing with a Commodore 64 Emulator.
  10. I've just been playing ED, and I'm trying to set up a trader/explorer mix.
  11. Dwarf Fortress.
  12. Star Control II again. VogVAHlUKME
  13. Freespace 2. Dat nebula.

  15. Watching Quest of the Delta Nights, courtesy of MST3k.

  17. One Must Fall 2097. pdVnKYcYi3g
  18. Star Control II. I don't know if it counts as 'obscure' because it's a cult classic that regularly shows up on 'best games ever' lists, but there's so much one could talk about, especially when it comes to the story.
  19. Is it just me, or is Gordon right about a surprising number of things in the Half-Life universe? -His speculation that Black Mesa is run by a Bond villain. From what we see of Dr. Breen, that's not too far from the truth. -In one episode, he muses that he's like a cosmic plaything being bounced around. In Half-Life 2, he's in the employment of the G-Man, or atleast whoever he (it?) represents. -Relatedly, his ramblings about having been 'chosen by ghosts' a la The Shining is kind of true, considering the influence the G-Man has over his adventures. I'm sure there's more examples than just this.
  20. How has Freeman not noticed the Nihilanth talking to him?
  21. The Ur-Quan Masters. I'm more used to stuff like Freelancer and Wing Commander, but I'm getting the hang of it.
  22. The Babylon Project, for Freespace 2. It's technically a standalone game using the FS2 engine, but I think it's worth a look at. The Babylon Project attempts to recreate the way space combat works in the TV series Babylon 5, with a number of custom campaigns having been made for it. I guess it's only really of interest if you're a fan of both B5 and space sims, but it's had a good amount of effort put in to it.
  23. Particle Bat, Particle Bat, Doing the things a particle can. What's he like? It's not important. Particle Bat. Is he a dot, or is he a speck? When he's underwater does he get wet? Or does the water get him instead? Nobody knows, Particle Bat.
  24. Star Wars: TIE Fighter
  25. Trying to watch the Rosetta landing.
