  1. By the way, which Christmas do you have in there - December 25th or January 7th?It's important bit of info to know for proper speculations...
  2. Great episode once more. Freeman does notice the benigness of some aliens, so there is hope for the next area. However, one thing jumps out, at the start - why does he assume that the mirror image is two separate stars? I mean, it should be painfully obvious that one is the reflection (unless you want to make a Tatooine joke).
  3. Well, that means we will get a monday-wednesday-friday FM schedule.I fail to see how this is bad. Just in case, Ross. Don't forget. Quality >> schedule. Don't skip the quality just to win a bet.
  4. Failing that, i'm fairly sure he will at least keep making something awesome.
  5. . This is an FM episode. All craftrossship is of the highest quality. It is encrusted with ROFL. Well, it's definitely better this time. That last episode they were added, they grated somehow, broke the immersion. This time, they seem to fit. At least, i haven't noticed them explicitly until reading this thread.
  6. In accordance with human habit of stating the obvious, i therefore state that this was a great episode. Excitement overload detected. Overriding to default action "get back to work". If?IF?! There is no f-ing if about it.
  7. With that i vehemently disagree. On a big screen movies are often painful to watch in 24FPS - you can see individual frames when there is much motion (i.e. camera is panned), a flicker that scraps on the nerves and destroys immersion. Multiply that by 10 if the screen is IMAX (and the movie shown isn't at IMAX's 100FPS). While the "live video" impression fades away an hour into the movie and never comes back (in my case).
  8. Considering the big discussion - i'm surprised everyone forgot about the part where he jumps to the scientist at the controls, asks him to teleport him to MIT, and gets an "all right, i can open the portal now" in response. I bet the problem is that time flies at a different rate when you are observing and when you are doing the thing.I.e. it takes about two seconds for the parachute to fully open when you watch a video, but it takes what feels like a minute when you're the one hanging under it. Why would they?Wouldn't it be more logical for them to be frozen solid, since all the kinetic energy (that is, momentum of the atoms' thermal motion) gets removed?
  9. I f.. whatever... agree with that. Great episode, right up in the top five. It's one of these episodes that feel very short for being really fun. Maybe cause i'm one of the people who commented on looking forward to it.
  10. Great episode! Meltdown, hm? One of the more interesting parts of the game is approaching - all the opportunities, the wandering, lost scientists, falling to his death from a portal accident only to be teleported back before impact, and so on. Teleportation labs episodes are going to be great fun!
  11. Hm... Episode 37: "One of them got on the intercom and started chanting this crazy ritual. Next thing i know, we get beings from another dimension teleporting in like we're giving away free t-shirts" This episode: Trans-dimensional? Space is not another dimension. Intentional twist, or oversight? In any case, great episode as usual!
  12. Great. I was thinking to ask whether to mail a spare RevoDrive 3 X2 480Gb PCI-E SSD i have ( http://ocz.com/consumer/revodrive-3-x2-pcie-ssd ), or just 2 bitcoins, but it would seem that i'm late to the party... Anyway, thanks for all your great work, Ross, and best of luck!
