Doesn't help that I've seen these two together outside of school, and they are ADORABLE. Okay, the hug one is just bullshit, and it's what happens when you allow the anti-PDA people to get their way. (It's not your fucking business, if you don't like it don't look at it. Stop punishing other people for making you JEALOUS.) As for the snuggling, I can get that they might not be allowed to sleep at recess, so you wake them up. Any punishment is too much punishment. But oh, the story gets SO much worse. Apparently they claimed the suspension was two weeks instead of one because their position was "suggestive and will not be tolerated". "Suggestive". THEY'RE FIVE. These morons called the SLEEPING POSITION of two FIVE YEAR OLDS fucking SUGGESTIVE. Even if it is, which I have my doubts on, do they honestly think for a moment that it's on purpose? And even if it was on purpose, do they honestly believe these little babies know or care why acting like that makes adults uncomfortable, or even that it does to begin with? I call bullshit. I bet it's just a shitty excuse to punish them more because you fucking get off on it. I am angrier now that I have heard that. Considerably.

Let me put it this way: If I had been suspended two weeks every time I snuggled with a girl, I WOULD STILL BE ON SUSPENSION. This is just absurd. If I could meet the principal who decided that, my displeasure would be measurable in joules, and be over a thousand when I punch them right in the liver, then again in each kidney for good measure.

Can school administrators PLEASE get it through their THICK ASS FUCKING HEADS that children are affectionate by nature and there's nothing wrong with that? Second time this year my girlfriend's nephew (who is FIVE YEARS OLD) has been suspended for PDA. Last time it was three days for hugging a girl he likes, this time they suspended him TWO WEEKS for taking a nap with her at recess. Hugging and snuggling have gotten him SEVENTEEN DAYS combined suspension time. That is SEVENTEEN DAYS SUSPENSION for BEING A FIVE YEAR OLD. The more time goes on the more I FUCKING HATE US public schools.

I feel confused and ashamed, mostly confused. I seriously offended a girl in public today. We were on the bus, and I noticed she had a Math 110 book with her. And I seriously could not believe it was hers, I thought it must be an older sister's or something. So I asked her about it, and she responded "Yeah, it's mine. Why wouldn't it be mine?" Stupid me, I had to open my mouth again and say it. "Because you look, like, 12." While I was dead serious and not exaggerating a bit, I seriously thought she was 12, she took exception to that. She then very loudly stated that she was 18 and that just because white people are terrible at determining other people's ages doesn't mean she looks 12, called me a racist (slightly hypocritical of her) and got off the bus. And I am still processing that.

And there we go. Now I have another reason to despise Kydure. Because I didn't have enough already. Despite having like ten of them. Going to duck out before I get #12.

On sports: I don't understand why watching other people play eachother in a multiplayer game is suppised to be entertaining. These games SUCK, too. They never mix it up and there's no story at all. I'd rather watch people play CoD matchmaking. Better variety, funnier, at least equal story, and less time with fuck all going on. And seriously, hour long matches? No fucking way. (Hopefully, you all get the comparison.) EDIT: WARNING: WEIRDNESS TO FOLLOW. Okay, so on a drunken lark a while back I tried showering with no light. As in, as near-total darkness as humanly possible. And it was FANTASTIC. And it remained fantastic for weeks while sober. Try it. Play with the temperature, the water pressure, your position... Whatever you change, you will feel so much more when your body has to adjust for the loss of your sight and diminishment of your hearing and smell. It is equal parts pleasure, life hack (experiment, instant wake-ups and sleep aids are easy with effective alternations between hot and cold) and and existential experience. 10/10 will never go back to lighted showers.

Yeah, but this guy claimed it worked on modern systems. And it very, very much does not. Since I have never managed to get any VMs working, I can't play this game at all and haven't been able to for over a decade.

OH GOD YES. I have been waiting YEARS to play Earthsiege II again. Thank you just for POSTING this. EDIT: Spoke too soon, it doesn't work. Because of fucking course it doesn't, it was stupid of me to believe it for a single second. Every single person who has ever said they can make Earthsiege II work has been a liar since 2005, why should that change now?

My two best friends broke up. I might lose my carpool and therefore my job as a result, but their relationship is definitely gone. And the one who left didn't even have the fucking common courtesy to tell his own boyfriend to his face, and just packed up and left while he was at work.

I do accents and voices without realizing it. I caught myself speaking heavy southern drawl once, found out I had for half an hour, while mocking Faux "News" with a friend. I'm surprised you ever took it seriously. (I never do, and never did) This explains SO much...

1. I have never declined a hug. Ever. 2. My girlfriend and I made a language for ourselves when we were little. She is still fluent, I am... Less so. 3. I "lost" my virginity (I hate that term) when I was either 6 or 8 depending on whether oral counts. Either way, still with the very wonderful girl who helped me get rid of it. 4. I hated alcohol until the moment I could drink it. It won me over FAST. 5. I love the Souls games. 6. Most of my RPG characters are children. I love kids, and my paternal instincts are very effective at keeping them in one piece. 7. I like to see who does and does not get particular references. No idea why.
