Well, I was goimg to be drinking, but apparently it's illegal to buy alcohol before 6. Because fuck night shift people, apparently. So... Going to bed, I guess.

Depending on how drunk he was, he probably won't press charges due to not remembering much. I'm not worried about ME. MY ass is covered. His, however, was just left unconscious in front of a convenience store, in the middle of the night, in Washington, in the winter, with a concussion and poor odds of getting any medical attention or still having his wallet by the time he gets home, if he gets home at all. (This town sucks.)

I'm not sure this is a vent, actually more sure it isn't, but... I kinda just knocked out a drunk guy and I am now kinda worried. More than kinda, actually. Still processing it. Edit: Basically, I was just trying to enter a convenience store, and this guy blocked my path and started berating me for shopping there because the night clerk decided he was too drunk to buy more booze. I told him the clerk had a point and tried to get past him. He blocked me again, I told to fuck off, he shoved me, I punched him in the side of the head and he dropped. I then panicked and immediately went home. And I am now worried.

You know, I am getting a bit tired of ISIS being named, you know, ISIS. Because I'm dead certain that, as an Archer fan, I am now on some kind of NSA watchlist.

Yeah, I tried my hand at modelling too, back when New Vegas came out. That went nowhere, but at least it had the courtesy to do so fast so I didn't waste too much of my time. So... Yeah, going to be 100% dependent on what the community comes up with, but thankfully the vanilla game has good placeholders and will likely have more and better ones as the DLC comes out. And if need be, the placeholders can be used indefinitely.

A little from column A, little from column B. I am definitely replacing a lot of the models with more realistic ones if and when I can (I am certain some firearm enthusiasts will hop right on making some Glock, Armalite and Kalashnikov models the moment the GECK is released), but until then the vanilla models will have to do. Unfortunately.

My problem is that Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas ALL had better armour systems. Systems that were simpler, more realistic and functioned better. Especially Fallout 1 and 2, the ONLY good thing about those games, on the rare instance an enemy failed to bypass your armour entirely and render the entire system pointless and look at me I've started to rant. Anyway, they could have done a LOT better than this, and it looked like they did, and they all but outright said they did, and then they did this backwards, overcomplicated crap that's going to be a pain in the ass to work with for me and any other modder who wants to overhaul the system.

It is unnecesarily complex and impenetrable, too tightly tied to enemy damage and difficult to control. It sucks for all purposes. Though I will give you that it is much closer to reality than the system used in Fallout 3. (Or Skyrim, or Oblivion, or Morrowind, etcetera.)

Well, the thing is that this isn't the first time. Or the second. It happens a lot, and it's been happening for years, I just didn't know why people assumed I was ex-military. And I suppose I probably still don't, honestly. I seriously doubt that's what was going on before. Better rant: I get ONE FUCKING DAY OFF, and EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD DECIDES TO FUCK WITH ME. Started with the shower randomly going ice cold and remaining there, then the handle snapped off my coffee cup the moment I touched it, then the fucking download I left running from last night (which was supposed to take TWO HOURS) was somehow at 1% completion when it was at 86% when I fucking left it, then my chair breaks the moment I sat down. And not even the part that actually supports my weight, the back of the leg broke off. So I try Youtube. It runs slow as fuck, skips randomly to different parts of the video, refreshes the page for no reason and then crashes. So I try to go to the Nexus but it won't log in. Okay, fuck the internet, clearly not working. Then I turn on Fallout 4 and it takes SIXTEEN TRIES to make it FUCKING START, only for my character to fall through the world geometry, end up in the Glowing Sea (I WAS IN SANCTUARY), refuse to raise her weapon, refuse to switch weapons and then refuse to raise the pip-boy. Then the game crashes to desktop. I decide that clearly, it doesn't want me playing Fallout 4. So I move on to the single least glitchy, fairest game I own, the one that has NEVER fucked me over like that, EVER. Dark Souls. And then my character won't get up from the bonfire, and when I exit and reload, they start going the "hit" animation over and over again when they're not being attacked and there's nothing even there to attack them until they fall off a fucking ledge. Then they get stunlocked by everything and nothing when I try to just run to the next bonfire, randomly teleport into a grab attack TWENTY METRES BEHIND ME, and die. Then I try again and get killed by an enemy who has NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE. Then I try again and FALL THROUGH THE FUCKING WORLD GEOMETRY. Then I try again and get really far, only for my character to RANDOMLY BURST INTO FLAMES FOR NO FUCKING REASON OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL SHE DIES. Then I finally reach the next bonfire and everything seems to be back to normal until I reach a boss, and then the companion NPC repeatedly runs into lava over and over again instead of contributing, the boss fills the entire arena with lava, never mind that there's both a limit on how much she can put down and a limit on how long it lasts, and my character dies. Try one last time, character gets randomly hit by an enemy that randomly teleported to her all the way from the edge of the game's extraordinarily long draw distance, then my character freezes up in the middle of the boss fight casting soul arrow over and over again and won't move, and of course dies. Alright world, you win. I FUCKING GIVE UP. FUCK EVERYTHING, I am FUCKING DONE. The entire world can officially BITE MY ASS.

I have a few minor gripes. 1. Can I get a new dental hygienist? Because this bitch uses SO MUCH FORCE I swear one of my teeth is loose now. 2. I had ANOTHER person tell me I "walk weird" today. You can now consider my pet peeved. If one more person tells me I walk weird, I'm going to walk my boot right up their ass and they'll be the one walking weird for the next week. Alright? 3. Apparently I look like a veteran. Or something. People keep confusing me for a veteran for one reason or another. Today it was the way I stand, apparently. Because... I stand with my feet equidistant from my centre, heels together and toes apart, arms crossed behind my back. I had no idea I did that, but apparently I do that all the time. Well, at least I know what to stop doing.

I'm going to express the unpopular opinion and say that there's nothing wrong with what she wants. At all. Clearly you're a bad match, but that isn't anybody's fault and you'll both be better off if you break up with without playing the blame game.

Is it based off nude mods from past games or something? No, I don't think so. It mentions improving on stuff he did in Mortal Combat, but I think he's talking about techniques he used back then. I'd post a link, but I am not sure that'd be allowed.

How's this for an endgame? Pick a faction you hate, make it your mission in life to wipe them off the face of the Earth. EDIT: Okay, let me make this a little more clear. There is and will never be an overarching story to this game, beyond what you make for yourself. That DOES NOT mean the game is without any story or plot, just that it has a lot of little stories and plotlines spread throughout the game. Some of them are really significant. One of the big ones is right in front of you when you start the game, wagging its tail. (I'm not spoiling that one in public, though. I'll PM the synopsis on that one if you want it.) These smaller stories are no less valid than a larger story would be, and a lot of small stories do a lot more to build and establish the world than a single large one. In the end I see the world as more important than having some overarching plot, doubly so in an open-world game, and I lack the resources to do both. Now for the perk list. (Note, a lot of these are mapped to the same location as the vanilla perk they most resemble, and *all* of these have four ranks. Which means a total of 280 levels of investment available. Also, clearly, this is unfinished. I will be working on it more today and tomorrow, and should be able to finish it given time.) EDIT: So, this worthless piece of shit just deleted the entire rest of this post, basically. Because it fucking can. So now what was SUPPOSED to be a small edit adding one perk to the list and fixing a typo is now A COMPLETE RESTART. So... Yeah. I'm just going to not fucking bother writing up the perk list on the site until I have a full list, on Microsoft Word, where it can be restored if it gets deleted again.

Well, yes. That would have been better. But I didn't think of it, for some reason, despite having read the SS creed. Also, to clarify, I am in week 3 of learning German, and it is a hobby effort through Rosetta Stone, made entirely because three generations back there was not a single member of my family who didn't have German as a first language. Also, my family is half Jewish. Guess why they aren't in Germany anymore. And one note, to Vapymid, I can't believe I haven't made yet: "Human nature" is a massively overused and misused term to the point where it can pretty much be retired because people will never use it right. "Human nature" almost does not exist in reality, and people use it to mean "everything that humanity does, most of the time, right now, within this very strict context, as edited from my world view". There is basically no such thing as human nature, and what little their is we can roll right over, rewrite and override as we damn well please, because the human psyche is just that flexible and WILL adapt to its surroundings as much as it needs to. Religion is not a requirement. There is no evidence it existed before recorded history, just us thinking "well it must have" and inserting it wherever the hell we wanted to. And even if religion had been with us for most of our history, humans can erase anything from their programming that they damn well please, and do so all the time (in a historical sense). NONE of our mental constructs is bound to us, we can destroy any of them when they are no longer needed, and religion was never needed, it was only ever a thing forced on us by the powerful to keep them in power. We CAN destroy it, we SHOULD and we WILL. Religion as a whole WILL die, and we WILL be better for it, because it IS an evil tool the powerful use against the powerless, and it IS nothing but a detriment, and we ARE growing wise to it. More people leave it with each passing year, and more will continue to leave it until there is nobody left in it. And good fucking riddance.
