Updating to Windows 10 fixed the problem, which was 100% just AMD and Bethesda deciding to not support the older OS.

Physical in ten minutes...

I, for one, think they did a good job with the plot.

Keep going on the main quest.

Fallout 4, known and unresolved compatibility issues with AMD on Windows 7.

What do you mean, "now"? I mean, they were kinda like this in every game but 3.

Small, gaming related vent: How fucking DARE Bethesda charge $100 for a game that DOESN'T EVEN FUCKING RUN? I want every red goddamn cent back, I am sick to death of having to struggle for FUCKING HOURS to get their PIECE OF SHIT TO RUN, because of issues they cannot POSSIBLY be unaware of and REFUSE TO FUCKING FIX. I don't give a flying fuck what bullshit excuses Bethesda has. No game should outright fail to run, EVER. This is NOT acceptable, and they need to either fix the problem or give me my fucking money back.

Well, I hate wasps. With a flaming passion. However, that does not mean I'm willing to pick the absolute worst strategy for dealing with the little fuckers, and I don't get why most people do. They're already inclined to sting, why make them more inclined to sting? Just stay away from groups. If there's only one, you can kill it. Just only do it if you're SURE it's the only one. (We get one or two yellow jackets in our house every now and then in summer and fall. I always look for a second one before insta-gibbing the first one, and make sure I don't pulp it until I'm sure it lands on a solid surface.) Bees, on the other hand, I'm okay with. I've had multiple honey bees on my too many times to count, and I've been just covered with hundreds of the fuzzy little ladies at least three times, though two were on the same day. They are quite docile, they hardly seem to notice or care about people being around most of the time. It's almost like they're just trying to do their job or something. "Oh, it's just a person. Well, landing on it was sure a waste of time. Hey, buddy, don't wear light blue anymore, you're confusing us. Bye." *Goes back to work.* Quite a stunning difference between the two, ain't it? Frustrates me to no end that people confuse the two, and both confuse the harmless honey bee for the psychotic wasp and attack both when it's the worst thing you can do in both situations.

But... But my reply WAS entirely related to what I replied to. And then, I had an entirely separate comment, and apparently failed to make it as clear as it should have been that it was a separate thing, and BTG didn't understand. I don't quite get where you're seeing animosity, really. OT: Quick note to people, please be sure if what you're swatting at is a bee or a wasp. If it's a bee, it's harmless and will leave if you just wait a couple seconds for it to realise "Oh, it's just a person. There's nothing here that is of use to me.", making you fucking insane for swatting at something harmless. And if it's a wasp, you're swatting at something that only stings if you make it feel threatened, which is fucking insane because swatting at it will definitely make it feel threatened and is guaranteed to get you stung if you fail to kill it. Either way, don't fucking swat at the yellow striped insect, you homicidal lunatic. Wait. Take a closer look. If it's fuzzy, it's a bee and you can just let it go on it's lovable little way, looking for flowers to get nectar from. If it isn't fuzzy, it's a fucking psychotic little wasp monster and you should either wait patiently for it to leave, or else if an opportunity presents itself kill it instantly by crushing it flat with a single swat with something that is NOT YOUR FUCKING HAND YOU IDIOT, IT'LL STING YOU. What would possess you to blindly swat at it before you even know what it is? Like, seriously, that is the worst thing you can possibly do. So why the hell is that the immediate response of most people?

Hey BTG, surely you can separate what part of my post is actually replying to you, and what part was the actual original post I actually came to this thread to post, right? Do I NEED to outright say it, or can you pick up on context? I thought the "Anyway, so..." was enough. Should I have put my actual post *before* my reply to you, would that have done it?

Seen it already. Dude doesn't really say anything of value. But then, not one time in the history of his channel has anything of value ever been said. Anyway, so... My friend and I are going to be setting up a website for our tabletop after the holidays. I'll link to it when it's up, but right now we're just talking about site layout and rules. Just thought I'd bring it up.

Actually, it was a horror game, and that's what I was there for... Escaping a mental institution, seeing glimpses into the other children's traumas, and even in the forest there was some seriously creepy shit going on. Right up until I went into full hippie vision quest mode. Now I'm on some quirky fantasy adventure that makes NO SENSE. It flies right the fuck out of nowhere, adds nothing to the game, goes on WAY too long and is extremely repetitive and frustrating for all the normal reasons point and click games are repetitive and frustrating. I mean, there's still a few creepy moment here, but they're way too few and far between, and the puzzles in here are just not any good. I would have heartily recommended this game to anybody looking for a good horror game before I went into Ithersta. Now, I don't think I'd recommend it to anybody.

Has anybody else played Fran Bow? I am presently in "vegetative state". And I just have to ask, in the most articulate way I can currently manage: What the fuck?

How do you have seventy mods already? The game hasn't even been out a month yet. Did you even beat the game before you started modding?
-
Sorry if that sounded rude, bad writing on my part. I only meant to clarify the differences.

A few quick things on gun mods: 1. All automatic weapons will be select-fire if at all possible. Fire modes can be changed with a bound key. Semi-auto is slower than full auto, but recoil is reduced. Full auto is fast, but recoil is increased. Damage, accuracy and range are not directly affected. Remember to fire in short bursts, and with a little skill you can use a fully automatic weapon up to a pretty good range. 2. There NOT be alternate ammunition types in-game. There will be some weapons that fire silver bullets, but all weapons that share their ammunition type do as well. 3. Receivers affect weapon rate of fire in rifles and magazine size in pistols. Heavy pistol receivers hold more ammunition but are heavier, lighter pistol receivers hold less ammunition but are lighter. Rifle receivers are either faster with more recoil or slower with less recoil. 4. Barrels are extremely important. Longer barrels slightly reduce recoil and slightly increase damage, range and sighted accuracy. Shorter barrels significantly reduce weight and increase hip-fire accuracy. 5. Stocks increase weight and reduce hip-fire accuracy, but reduce recoil and improve sighted accuracy. 6. Muzzle breaks reduce recoil, but also reduce accuracy. Bayonets improve melee damage, but make the weapon heavier, and are more effective on rifles than pistols. Suppressors significantly reduce noise and recoil while increasing sighted accuracy, but also reduce damage, range and hip-fire accuracy while making the weapon heavier, and for rifles the benefits are smaller and penalties greater. (Note: The increase in sighted accuracy is because the muzzle blast is no longer half blinding you every time you fire.) Also, quick note about the dog: Your starting dog, in case you hadn't guessed, is an android. That's why it inflicts no damage, and also why it's so durable, and also why it manages to come back to you each time it dies Fo3 Dogmeat style. Not spoiling the story behind that. Also, quick question. A few of these enemies are supposed to be intimidating. I would like to know how I did on that, just so far. Specifically on the reanimates (especially the risen, which every enemy left dead will turn into if you don't take the time to destroy them), undead (especially the death lords, which are actual vampire gods), the celestials of various grades (especially the guardians and sentinels, which are actual celestial gods), the various robots (especially the avenger), wendigos (both varieties), demons (the black-eyes and manager are only meant to be creepy, but if I failed at that there's no point), regulators and raiders.

No, theirs is more conventional. Their sanity mechanic has random effects starting when your sanity falls below half, with a higher chance the lower your sanity is. Mine, on the other hand, has everything that affects your morale just damage it until it runs out, and then inflict a debuff that lasts a long time and return your morale to full. The fact that in mine, these effects do nothing to you until your morale completely breaks, only one gets through on each morale break, and it's always the last one that actually breaks your morale regardless of which attack did how much morale damage, makes them very different. As does the fact that once you get a trauma in mine it lasts an extremely long time, where in theirs once your sanity is back to half or more you take no effect from it whatsoever. And, of course, mine has no randomization.

Actually, as I am presently pretty far into it, no. No it does not.

Same situation, mate. You should try finding a staffing agency around you. It won't get you anything permanent, just temp jobs, but that's better than nothing. And soon, you can get a car, and that makes you a LOT more hireable. Mine is Aerotek, don't know if they're in your area, but you can try. Best of luck mate.

Here's a quick explanation as to why people are calling them Daesh, and why we all should call them Daesh. (Shothand being that it pisses them off.)

So, I've been told by a friend I should play a game called "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem", but he refused to say anything about why, and said I should go in completely blind. I am skeptical about a game that the person recommending will not give any information, or even the genre, but if he says to go in completely blind I want to go in blind if I do go in at all. So I'm asking for a second opinion. Is this game worth shaking the dust off my Gamecube emulator for, or not?

6 AM. Between the hours of 12 and 6 AM. And speaking of which... OT: Now drinking. Finally. Got to get those creative juices flowing.
