  1. Ok, I found a download for Die Hohlenwelt-Saga, but I am not entirely comfortable with reuploading it on a easier to access server, so if anyone else wants to do that, feel free: http://www.goodolddays.net/file/file%2C ... downloads/ So far what I have found out is that the game uses cd audio, so you have to mount it in DOSBox using this line: imgmount [drive letter] [path to .cue] -t iso Once the game is installed, there is a split archive (HW.001 - 015) with one file in it, HW with no extension. Unfortunately, I have never tried to hack my way into a game's inner workings before, so I personally am stuck when it comes to hopefully finding where the text dialogue is kept. Not that I am fluent in German, either, I was just going to use Google Translate, but it's better than nothing. The only other files are a .CFG, a .OVL, and a .WSA. This looks like it could be a cool game so if anyone else feels like trying to get into the inner workings so as to translate it, or at least helping me, that would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I may be a little late on that afterall, but it's not far behind. You should post this in the follow-up episode thread instead. -_- Sorry, I wasn't looking and thought I did. I will go do that now.

  4. In the words of LGR: "Tycoon, its a suffix that when attached to the end of a name is about as useful as 'Simulator'."
  5. Dat trail-ender. Anyway, I completely understand you taking a break from Freeman's Mind. I do however really hope that you will continue this into HL2 once you have had a sufficient break.
  6. I'm ok with it as long as you release the sounds with some way to mod them into the actual game.
  7. ALL my traffic went down however, not just Freeman's Mind, but Galaxy Gulp, Civil Protection, April Fool's Day videos, etc. My views only dropped in half because I was with a network. If I was independent, I could have lost maybe 90%. I really have to disagree with your implying this is a "more lean and accurate search engine" for multiple reasons. They're the result of my doing research and finding out as much as I can on this. The engine has not been tweaked to just be more relevant, if that was the case, I wouldn't be against this. It's a mix of relevant results, versus people who paying more money to have their content shown on Youtube. If you want to know more about this, check out this video, starting around the 5 minute mark: The part where he starts talking about ad words is especially relevant. Also this is purely subjective, but using Youtube a couple years ago, if I searched for a video, the search results or "recommended" ones (based on what I was watching) would almost ALL be related to what I searched. Nowadays, the results tend to be 1/3 related to what I'm looking at, 1/3 sort-of related, and 1/3 not related, but popular, like the cleavage video in this post. I saw that everywhere when I was looking up footage from abandonware games or Doom song remixes. Not exactly related to cleavage videos in Spanish. Yah, I miss the old YouTube where the suggested videos sidebar would actually suggest videos that were similar to the video you are watching. Now the majority of it is taken up by videos from the same person who made the video you are watching and videos that already have tons of views. I didn't even realize how this would hurt smaller channels and videos until your post. Looking back at it now, though, I realize that it has been a log time since I have stumbled upon a lesser-known video or channel. Glad to hear that we should finally be seeing more Freeman's mind, though!
