  1. that doesnt sound good- maybe your appendix (or however its called in english- that little useless addition in digestion tract) burst? sounds very similar description to few cases i know that have had that happen. Better check in with doctor today (heck, if you are reading it, i suggest go there immideatly), because its very time-critical if it is the case. I dont want to scare you, but if that really is case, we are talking life or death here
  2. Started watching Legend of Korra yesterday. Great show. So why post it in this topic.. well... i am bit creeped out by Legend of Korra now.. See, last episode i saw yesterday had terrorist attack in it (just before i went to sleep). Waking up- terrorists had struck in Nice. okay (well, not okay, as terrorists can go *beep* themselves) So yeah, i just finished watching episode where army takes over city. Go to read news. Boom- coup in Turkey. I havent been this weirded out for long time I mean bloody hell, coincidence or what? (all jokes aside, if spirits start to invade world now, im out)
  3. i havent been that angry to my 7 year old nephew in a long time... Today i had important job interview via phone and i said it to my sisters family (as they were visiting). Right in the middle of it, at part where i had to focus to answer questions, he runs in loud as heck and screams. I swear, never before i have wanted so hard to punch a 7 year old. I seriously hope it didnt mess job interview up..
  4. Call of duty: ghosts. Story is filled with bad-side cliches so far, pretty predictable. However, its not bad. huh, i guess this is exactly the kind of game i'd use Ross's description for "wolfenstein" (2009)- its not bad, which is weird if you say it over & over again
  5. Rocket League. Bloody hell, that matchmaking keeps getting more broken by the day. If you opt to play alone & anything other than 1vs1 ranked, you WILL lose because no matter how good you are, you are placed in team with players FAR below your AND opponents level (who are of course, premade team). So it at best is often 1vs2/3, more often 1vs5 as teammates are often so bad they help opponents out more than own team. Great game otherwise, but this is too damn annoying. Also, community in general- so many a-oles.
  6. i wonder which places- every news site i watch published & discussed it trough & trough. BTW- it apparently has solution already as well.
  7. Testament of Sherlock Holmes. Actually i already asked for refund- detective game up my alley, but it felt too akward after playing Crimes & Punishments. Call of duty: ghosts. Yes, i finally gave in (mostly because i saw offer for it just 5 euros). Still, this is definetly LAST call of duty im going to get IF series will stay in future & MW remaster wont come standalone. Modern i can handle, futuristic BS? Only if its REALLY good.
  8. uh, aint that like weeks old news by now?
  9. just how the fuck did Portugal win euro? how on earth have they this much lucks?! only 1(!!!!) game they won on normal time & they win euro? this is bull! Most boring, undeserving team to win euro wins it.. Guess thats football, but still BS. I mean they shouldnt have even gotten past group stage!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. 1. mazes in FPS. While thankfully mostly thing of the 90-s, it still happens today (Doom 2016). Not to be confused with non-linear maps. Who in their right mind thinks that for an FPS its good idea "go to this end of the map, get this key card, then go to other end of the map to door, rinse & repeat"? 2. Badly used cliches. Here is the thing- i dont hate cliches, but i do hate if they are horribly used. See, you can use cliches very well, but it often is on same level as in "chosen" 3. "follow NPC" missions. Well, do i really need to say anything about it? 4. Crafting. Yes, crafting. I really dislike crafting, because in so many games its only way to get certain items- in some games its basically only viable option. I dont like this. It feels like cheap substitute to creating balanced economy & forces you collect a LOT of random junk. To make things worse, in lot of those games you have actual weight limit or capacity limit for certain items- and as it happens, those limits are usually lowest for most nessessary items. Granted, there are few games where crafting is actually fun, but those are in minority. At least im glad games are coming out of this "must have crafting" period.. 5. Weapon limit. Ok, in reality perspective it does make sense to have just 2 weapons, as well as keeping multiplayer in mind as well as balancing. But i still want games, where i can have all the guns i can find on me at all times. It would make so much more fun to experiment with different solutions. At least GTA with its good ol' insanity has kept me satisfied enough in that regard
  11. Thank you for the sacrifice you made by playing this game. I can imagine having tooth pulled out without drugging you is more enjoyable (btw i have that experience- yes, really). But bad voice acting suggestion: Men of War campaign- it actually has worse voice acting than this game, even if (arguably) better lines. To my knowledge, voice actors were russians and they tried to do russian accent on top of already existing accent, while trying to make voice sound different. It ended up being so bad, that it was barely understandable. For example, one character in campaign is named "Viktor" (common name in areas that were under russian empire before ww1). Voice actor pronounces it as "Vikktrr" (with "i" barely sounding, making it more sound like "Vkktrr", while in reality both "i" and "o" should be pronoinced clearly, more sounding like "Victor")
  12. RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. Was laughing like maniac while playing it- most fun i've had for long time. It helps, that community is great too (including devs- especially devs). And hey, game just hit full release. definetly 10/10 from me, though i might be bit biased as show fan (but hey- you can have bundle with all 3 volumes as well as game on steam- or just watch volumes so far from youtube (dont worry, makers themselves loaded it up there))
  13. maybe they just remove bots or dead accounts? cant think of any other reason atm
  14. um, you want to beat NV in one sitting?
  15. yeah, im not good at titles (if anyone can suggest better one, be my guest) Have you had that game you love. Not just love, but want to lose yourself in it. Love it so much you just refuse to play it unless you have enough time to beat it in one sitting or at least uninterrupted? If so, please share them. As for me, i have honestly encountered just one game that does it without even trying- Life is Strange.
  16. who doesnt have civ V yet, go get it right now. Just 74 cents on steam, WITH all expansions.
  17. i love videochats, but since its basically AF podcast, i'd reccommend having audio-only version of it as well
  18. had same with my father really- i guess its when your brains enters some sort of state of denial, that you know he isnt coming back, but you still cant believe hes gone. Then days, weeks or even months later it hits like a train.
  19. Doom (2016) I really get why original Doom was popular but i dont get why this is. Mazes, combat is a joke (even weak enemies are bullet sponges), weapons feel off, all that.
  20. Remember me is not a bad game, but not great either. Still, decent enough to pass time & has rather good story
  21. Again, Iceland! bloody hell, its so darn amazing and great! Football at its best- small nation who was tought to be outsider comes & eliminates England! And not with bad game!
  22. Doom (2016) demo. I have to say, while i never was doom fan in first place (more of a wolfenstein person), i feel disappointed. Sure, its great reworks of exact same mechanics (only updated to fit mouse aim better) and gameplay, but it took everything good AND bad from original doom. Its gory, but as Shadow warrior's remake proved, game needs something more than just gore. It has fast action, which is good, also you can carry unlimited weapons- i mean as much weapons as there are (something that i have missed for long time). Great, yes? Except this is where it gets boring. It has non-linear maps, which isnt a bad thing, but it uses mazes. And like Ross, i am not fan of mazes in first person shooters. Despite the speed and guns not needing to reload (btw that annoyis the heck out of me), combat still feels slow and enemies bit of bullet sponges- even weakest ones. Basically demo didnt give me even once the feeling like i would be badass space marine, rather guy in zombie apocalypse in desert who happens to get across random small zombie groups. And this was on hardest available difficulty too. Boring, boring and once again boring.
  23. i agree with you there. SH2 was last good SH (though SH crusaders 2 is also pretty decent), even though even that has fair share of problems. I really dont dig population limit
  24. its amazing how good mods can chance perception of game- thanks to them i've now gotten into skyrim, as i have magic set to minimum in all fields. Also, mods to get rid of spiders is real win for arachnophobic such as myself.
