  1. Today sucks hard. My grandmother died this morning and i have went trough lot of negative emotions today. But weird part is that i dont feel as bad as i tought i will feel and that kinda freaks me out. Maybe it has something to do with fact that i've been playing this scenario in my head for last month but i actually feel sort of relieved. See, she was sick for very long time and her health was declining. Worst part wasnt seeing her fade physically but mentally. Still, i miss her
  2. I am literally starting to lose it. As always, my family blames me for literally everything, no matter if i was involved or not or even aware of the event nor i shouldnt have been. Furthermore, everything i do fails either because i manage to mess it up somehow or for circumstances not under my control. Speaking of control, my family members want to control me (and i seriously wish it was just me being paranoid)... Wanting me to go to shitty job (the one i quit because mental abuse was just too much), constantly lashing on me, forcing me to sit trough hours of "talks" with them that just consist on them just telling me what to do and how they had it worse, how other people have it worse, with when im trying to say something its always demolished, going trough my stuff (and not seeing anything wrong with it)... They know that i care about family and use it against me.. Like that wouldnt be enough, i am looking for new job, but every time i am starting to get somewhere (most often they find another or for non-IT jobs im "overqualified"), they manage to convince me to stop it. Like said, they'd prefer if i'd go to same shitty job i was before but i feel if i go there i really am going over the edge. And to top it all off, my grandmothers health is declining fast. So all this has come to point where my muscles twitch at random moments (you know, the small jerk feeling), i most often get panic attack before falling asleep (not always, but on averate 4 times out of 7) and to even muster a smile or talk to someone takes incredible effort.
  3. Just got Watch Dogs 2 & considering getting Overwatch too. But question to overwatch players- does it have bots (as in AI enemies) in some gamemodes or is it all pvp? and does it still have decent playerbase?
  4. ....even for a conspiracy theory, that sounds like lunacy.
  5. Ross, dont worry about it- your fans know by now that next video will be out when it will be out, there is no hurrying you on our part. We know you do your best so seriously, thank you for update, but calm down a bit. We watch your videos for quality, not quantity So seriously- take all time you need
  6. This actually reminds me of guy who is literally trying to restore Russian empire (as in zarist Russia). Well, not overthrowing goverment (yet at least): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_Throne_(micronation)
  7. One type of game i'd love to make is horror game.. sorta. See, that game- at least not on surface- wouldnt look like horror game. It would be a game that you could actually play trough without being jumpscared or seeing monsters or such. In fact, it would be best if in first playtrough you would think its entirely different game than it actually is (got few ideas for that), but you constantly get this uneasy feeling that you just cannot shake, that something is wrong, that you are missing something and/or being watched. There are 2 problems with that though- 1. i dont know how to make games 2. It would take some really fancy writing to pull it off as i intend to. Now, i do have general plot ready (well, enough anyways), but i have to practice my writing skills a lot before even nearly pulling this off
  8. Damn you, Shrek for this song haunting me. again. -.- (but seriously, great song and great cartoon) 5ZYgIrqELFw
  9. here, some let's play i found of this section (note that this ancient Wu wasnt even mentioned before that): 9G0lhVgNsmQ
  10. That is legitimately weird. I've not played this game myself, is there some of secret world/magic realist sub-narrative that I'm not aware of in the titles lore? Is it an in-game nightmare of one of the characters or something? None whatsoever. It follows cop during his investigation of local bombings, triad and disappereance of protagonists father. And then said mission- its actually part of investigation. No nightmare sequence, no logical explanation whatsoever- its like devs tought "fuck it, we want some dragons in it" and didnt even bother making it a nightmare sequence
  11. Not great first off, my ISP is doing some interesting tricks. And by interesting i mean damn annoying. Im doing usual stuff online, get thrown offline. I check and everything is fine (it just disconnected). Checked for viruses (just in case) and reconnected. Bit later, in middle of friking skype interview, same bloody thing (probably cost me that job). Okay, i think maybe its computer problem. Try on other computer, same thing. Maybe malfunction? i try again next day and everything works right until it cuts off randomly. again. Those disconnects were like that i can immideatly reconnect (and i checked everything on my part is fine) and they happened once or max twice per day so i let it be (maybe they do some maintenance) Week later, nothing. Cuts like that only solved after i made calm but angry phonecall to ISP. Now i "just" get speeddrops (mostly fine). Now, second thing annoys me even more, though i cant talk about it. Lets just say its incredible what sort of mess can company's IT tech make for its successor to clean up. And how arrogant that person can be
  12. uhm, kriplespac? i'd like to point out there have been quite a few FPS in game dungeon- even excluding mainstream "Wolfenstein" (2009)
  13. What?! He was voiced by Kane (Joe Kucan)? i am geniuenly suprised! (though i did notice Westwood logo) But i disagree its good place to start for graphic adventure games as, well, you can still die (and i assume same applies to playing yourself into corner). Monkey island, on other hand, has remaster version (with old graphics option) and you cant die or play yourself into corner. Some graphic adventures did have weird age-verification methods back then though. I think it was Leisure suit Larry that had questions that you had to answer if you wanted to even fire up game (you had to get 3 of them). Problem was, those questions were very era-specific & USA-specific, so it was lottery picking correct answer
  14. who follows 700 000+ people on twitter? seriously? Thats really cheap way to try fish for followers & advertise yourself. "hey look, i care what you have to say... dont mind other 700 000 people, i somehow can read all those tweets & still function as human being" I might sound angry, but in reality im simply laughing my ass off right now that people actually fall for this. Here's the full story so far though: I have 20 followers on twitter, most of them spambots (and somehow 1 person i actually know from real life). Using twitter as throwaway platform, mostly to participate in giveaways & such, though lately i have been starting to post bit more meaningful ones (though still max 1 every few weeks. max). So i notice another popup telling me i have new follower (que most uninterested "wow"). I do open the profile and imagine my suprise when i saw this was real person account. With 1 000 000 followers. It apparently belongs to some youtuber i have never heard (Bart Baker- though apparently he has lot of subscribers). Then my view slides to "following" tab and i am still laughing at that ridicolous number i saw there- apparently that guy follows 735 000 people. Now, i know its common practise to do so to gain more followers, but thats just over the top ridicolous. And whats more baffling is that so many people fall for it. Its tough enough keeping track of news you want when following 50 people, but almost a million? I find it one of funniest things i've seen in a while
  15. i disagree on that. In fact, i think GTA & GTA 2 have aged much better than first ones in 3d era.
  16. Niko Bellic. Now, i dont mean that from looks, but how Niko is depicted. I liked the story even if it wasnt GTA-ish, but it made Niko look like person with deep scisophrenia. I mean in story scenes he doesnt want violence but he doesnt know what else to do, but in gameplay... usual GTA. The ancient guy with dragons (or he himself turned into dragon) in True Crime: Streets of LA. That whole spot of missions was so out of the blue... Up until that point, story was more or less grounded, at least no mystisism. And then out of the blue you have to find that guy who is apparently centuries old & has/can turn into dragon. And that was also the only mission where mystisism was involved. I last played it many years ago (i believe it might've even been as far back as 2009), but even back then it was weird.
  17. i said compared to what it was before sale. But it turned out to be regular weekend spike as current 24h peak is 4800 & minimum 1300. thats low. Game is barely a month old- for comparison, even advanced warfare (that now has 100 players left, least of all CoD-s) took over a year to get to that point
  18. Gone with the Blastwave, anyone?
  19. maybe not from consumer standpoint, but from dev standpoint its very bad

  21. why the hell so many consider "google it" as perfectly good source? Especially if you ask them to prove what they claim? It annoys the hell out of me.
  22. sorry alyxx, i know you like the game but i find it too funny. Been watching its playercounts since launch, currently sitting at 1/3rd of launch numbers (about 5000 daily peak). Apparently they deemed it to be big enough alarm bell to try sell it 33 percent off. As far as CoD goes, that is actually big deal, because usually newest addition is never on sale on autumn one (or winter one) or at least is 10 percent off or so. and i could tell it was on sale trough numbers- playerbase actually grew 100 players.
  23. Unfairness. What i mean by that isnt AI given advantage in cash/resources or stuff like that, what i DO mean is situation where AI breaks game itself to give itself unfair advantage. Its felt in games where you rely on bots as well. Good example is FIFA (at least at world class level). I mean i love the game, but it drives me crazy at times. Lets take my last match for example- opponents got their winning goal how? simply cross in towards goal and instead of catching it like any normal goalie would've, my goalie just stood there, letting ball bounce off him into goal. Before that 2 my central defenders were booked simply for taking ball off opponent (im not even joking- clean takeaway & both players stayed up), while opponents managed to injure another 2 of my players with straight red tackles (fyi, they got away with yellow & no warning). Oh and final score was 2-1. Funny thing is: opponents only got 1,5 chances (one i already described, other was more normal), while my team got 10+ chances but always, defender blocked (or my player shot at defender) and goalie pulled off saves that would give him goalie of century award in real world. Im all for challenges, but unfairness like that?
  24. unfair matchmaking. This is serious pet peeve in competitive games, such as Rocket League (that is extremely bad at this). Its so damn annoying to work up ranks only to be slammed into face by several teammates in a row who cant even hit the ball. And yes, RL does that a lot- you work your way up, then get teamed with people who are more of trouble than use & clearly not good enough to be on the level vs opponents from class higher, essentially creating 1vsx situation. You can do whatever you want, play the games of your life, but if opponents are on your level, you will only win trough sheer luck in those situations (meaning very rarely)
