You put it succinctly. What is it with reactionaries and posting insubstantial replies like this though? This isn't really pertaining to any inherently political issue I guess but I've noticed an overbearing attitude with a lot of the conservatives on here that a debate is treated as some sort of battle to be won, where victory is that "ha, gottem" moment at the end. In reality the entire thing is an attempt at mutual understanding and education. A wall of text isn't "total ownage", it's just something a lot of folks don't have the energy to bother to reply to. Treating discussions like this as some sort of fight for dominance is a really shallow approach and brings out all sorts of dishonest behavior.

Do you know why people call Islam a religion of peace? Most of them have talked to and befriended actual Muslims in their life. The city I grew up in was a refugee hotspot and some of my best friends were Muslims. They were incredibly nice people because a good chunk of them followed a sect of Islam that promotes peace and kindness. Just because the middle east is full of militant fundamentalist theocrats doesn't mean those kinds of people are the Muslims trying to escape the conflict of the middle east. I think it's fucking sad and miserable how much prejudice there is against Muslims in this country, in no small part due to the message that folks like you promote that they're intolerant of LGBT people or western culture in general. Also, don't act like you care about LGBT people when you're intentionally dropping the T. If you're going to talk about real Muslim people your average U.S. Citizen talks to, talk about the refugees or even the civilians in relatively safe parts of the middle east.

I think it's a little ironic to call a group that takes protest to a level that ANTIFA does a "fascist" group, especially without backing yourself up. The entire premise of fascism is authoritarianism and nationalism, neither of which are values that anarcho-communists hold. Take a wild guess what ANTIFA is? That's right, an ancom group. I never said white nationalists and white supremacists were the same, but they are similar. One's a racist, one's a racist that's a little more honest about their views. I challenge you to tell me which side effects of Xanax or Prozac would motivate a sociopath to commit a violent crime. You had no trouble searching for your own sources to my points and dismissing them for being "outdated", so you shouldn't have any trouble going out and looking for the side effects of those drugs.
