wondering why i feel so awful

I actually wrote about the subject in one of my fanfictions. (PM me if you're curious.) Basically even a long time after the combine were gone away big parts of the earth were still a wasteland and a lot of the ecosystem was messed up but the xen wildlife adapted to fill in the niches so while not as good as before it was functional. Also there were pet headcrabs and houndeyes and chumtoads. And leeches were a common food source. Theres more but I don't feel like looking up in my notes right now.

Though, to be honest, are we SURE that Freeman made it through the teleporter completely intact? I remember running into this problem once: We had to do facial reconstruction surgery on him to get him to a recognizable state. But then we had to shave his beard and he wasn't too happy about it.

In Half-Life 2, there was talk about compressing the Xen Relay and stuff. I couldn't understand it too good though and that stuff Freeman wouldn't know about I dont think.

On account of my disability, I'm covered under pharmacare so only have to pay $5 for my meds. Do you have anything like that where you live? Unrelated vent: My cat wanted to sit in the window and wouldn't stop meowing until I opened it. Now she's happy and I'm cold.

If you can, get a pill organizer - a dollar or two in pharmacies. They can help a lot. Well, when I remember to put the meds in beforehand. Medication is sort of yucky though - like my antidepressants I take in the morning, with the unfortunate side effect of making me drowsy and yawn all day. The doc suggested I take them at night, and I tried that - but then they ended up wearing off early afternoon and I'd go back into my mood swings. So drowsiness it is. Then there's the thyroid replacement, which I have to take because my thyroid doesn't really work. Thing is, it needs to be constantly monitored so I'm taking the right amount and that means a lot of blood tests.

For some reason i expected the morphine thing that was from a few episodes ago to factor into his decision but then it stopped. Was that something an idea you were thoughting about that? (Sorry I don't phrase things so good, I'm kinda foggy.)

It was the portal sequence from Delta Labs teleporters in Doom 3. Thats a very strange looking portal It is going to be very strange when Freeman's Mind gets to the end of HL1. If he decides not to do HL2 thats his decision but i'll definitely miss it.
