I dont know if this'll actually work, but it maybe to copy all the game files to another Source engine game and record the demo from that. But something tells me that'll just break things, so.....if anybody else figures it out I'd ppreciate it too.

I've been attempting to make gameplay videos of Half-Life 1 in GoldSrc. I'd use Source but it's sort of buggy. Though I ran into a bit of a problem -- it's hard to find a free recorder that'll pick it up. The inbuilt demo recorder system doesn't export any sound and I can't afford something like FRAPS or Dxtory (actually I can't afford anything at all atm). The recorder that comes with MSI Afterburner works, but it causes lag and sound issues. Other ones I tried won't even pick it up I suspect because it's OpenGL rather then DX. Any other suggestions? Thank you

I didn't mind the gun sounds, except they sounded a little too loud as compared to other things. Though, tbh, using the poison headcrab sounds on the regular 'crabs did bother me to some extent.

Took me a while to figure this out. So anyways: Half-Life 1: Characters: Probably Otis (the fat security guard from Opposing Force and Blue Shift), simply because of that really weird animation of him... waving a donut around? (I have no idea if he was supposed to be eating it or what...) Enemies: The Houndeyes, even if their yipping gets annoying after more than a few minutes. Half-Life 2: Characters: Hell, I like them all, even Magnusson. Don't make me pick here. Enemies: For the Combine, I like the Striders. For the aliens, I like Antlion Guards, simply because it's fun to see them barreling through an entire squad of Overwatch.

I loved the episode and the singing was hilarious I laughed and I'm also spreading the word about the new episode and the new place too. I'll wait until there's subtitles until I watch it again as I have trouble understanding speech and missed a lot of the words in the song.

I let out a scream when I saw "FREEMAN’S MIND: EPISODE 45" in my RSS reader and my mother came upstairs to see what happened. I'm waiting for it to buffer before I watch it.

I injured myself either bruised my foot really badly or possible broke some bones in there and really ought to go to the hospital but we cannot afford the parking fees they charge (they charge so much every 15 minutes and the hospital takes their time of course getting to you) so I have to sort of deal with it the best i can and also after a certin hour they only take credits cards of course we dont have any great job the idiots in charge you're limiting healthcare when its supposed to be friggin universal go away

I'm more interested in the fact that GLaDOS is the dealer...I can only assume the lulz are many. GLaDOS is the reason I decided to get it.

Congradualalalaation! Very much. Are the videos still going to hosted on this site? I like to download them directly as my internet connection is kind of crappy at times and better quality. Also don't get ulcers as that's terrible and feels terrible I've had them so I know.

A few more: I'm allergic to mustard. Fortunately, it's not real severe -- usually I just get painful sores in my mouth for a day or two. But it's pretty damn annoying. People often mistake me for being 6 inches taller than I actually am. And when you get me pissed off, I can be pretty damn intimidating, speed impediment and limp notwithstanding.
