  1. It is often difficult when you slip into sadness 'cos even if you can try to drag yourself out of it, it seems too much tiring to do that.
  2. Are you trying to confuse me that isnt very nice
  3. I dont get it.
  4. On another note why do people think it a good idea to yell at someone for not understanding something right away That is NOT going to help them and probably just make them feel like shit
  5. I stopped working with hardware a few years ago when i almost electrocuted myself. Im clumsy and touched the wrong part. The shock went right through my hand and my hand was numb for a few hours. That could've been dangerous! Anyways after that i stopped. My coordination just isnt good enough and my fingers are too short and thick. Weirdly enough, the computer survived though. I used to buy old crapped up computers for cheap, clean them up and install some Linux distro, and sell them at a small profit.
  6. The power supply unit in my mother's old computer exploded. This was living in the old apartment which hadn't seen an electrician in years....fuses kept shorting out and the landlord was "just put in bigger ones." I'm surprised it didn't burn down from an electrical fire yet. One time we had a lightning storm and i didn't have a power surge protector bar yet and my old computer broke. The RAM literally turned brown. i got a better computer though (the one I'm using now) so it wasn't too bad.
  7. Yeah the lack of crate-smashing is what led me to wonder. When i play Half-Life i tend to literally break every crate i see. Half-Life: Crate Smashing Simulator. Which is funny because crowbars are meant to open crates!
  8. I don't think I can remember in Freeman's Mind him ever running out of ammo. Maybe I forgot though. Is it just really good guessing of how much is left or something like the givecurrentammo command? Just wondering.
  9. A lot of stuff you often take for granted until you lose it, like a properly working memory that doesnt lose things within seconds I just have a lot of bad luck and accidents. It can be very depressing when you stop to think about it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm jinxed.
  10. For the FRAPS videos, when i get enough videos, i just set this program run overnight and encode them all to mkv/h264. good quality/size ratio if you use the right settings.
  11. I think that means if you're left-handed, stuff like scissors and....actually scissors are the only thing I can think of at the moment, but a lot of things are made for right-handed people, so left-handed people have to use it backwards. Though maybe I misunderstand. I don't good at idioms.
  12. I doubt that anytime soon but I'll keep it in mind. lol.
  13. Canada isn't very much close I don't think. Heh.
  14. yeah i tried. My desk is old and falling apart and theres literally cables all over the place including this 50-foot one going to the modem downstairs. (When the isp got put in, they said they could either put it in my room or downstairs and even tho my mother hardly uses her internet i got stuck with the stupid 50-foot cable and it can really slow at times. also the modems keep failing and have to replace a lot). I hope i can get a new desk soon.
  15. I just tripped and fell and landed on the power strip and my computer turned off. That wasnt very smart.
  16. Actually some time back i tried it. It may have just been because i did something wrong but i tried it with several separate games and in all of them the animations and such came out extremely stuttery. But it could've been just i done something wrong so maybe worth a try.
  17. Wow that is alot of money.
  18. Between my bad memory and my laziness i doubt i'd even bother, though text colours are fun. I used to use html to create text in rainbow, but this was years ago.
  19. SSD write limit worries me too. If im remembering correctly theyre not really that good for constant writing of a lot of small files which is what source recorder does.
  20. when i record with source recorder after the frames recorded i move them to the temporary folder on my data drive which is alot bigger but a little slower. (If you record startmovie to subfolder/whatever, it goes to a subfolder and you can whip up a batch file which is faster copy.) Its on the data drive i do all of the fun stuff like putting the video together and encoding it. It works for me at least but i don't do all of the motion blur stuff so maybe not help? Edit: sorry this is garbled up. My brain isn't too good today.
  21. Also i'm getting a lot of internal server errors and occasional sql error. I guess the server/database/forum software/something cant handle 50 zillion guests too good.
  22. Wow that is a lot of guest.
  23. I donated a few dollars but i couldn't afford anymore sorry but the videos make me happy. Also watch out on the SSD for the write limit. A lot of files being written that might wear it out something fast. But I assume you already got that factored out. Though that maybe not applicable anymore. I forgot sorry.
  24. Sorting out files on my hard drive. It is a real mess....actually, it's okay, so long as you don't look in my "temporary" or "unsorted" folders.
