Well it's too late now. I don't have an interesting hobby, so I don't qualify.

First, There have been plenty of civil disturbances, which take the form of protests. Second, Even if the people didn't vote for someone to end the war, They'd better end it, or else there will be political consequences at home. And I do believe Obama was elected on an anti-war viewpoint to some extent.
-
Because here is how it works: 1. War occurs in a country (resistance to the occupation of a country). 2. People from the occupation force die due to resistance. 3. The people back home don't want their countrymen killed. 4. Civil disturbances occur in order to protest the occupation. 5. The people elect someone to end the fighting. So I might have been wrong blaming the public 100%, but they play a major role in bringing the troops back home (and letting the country occupied now slip into disorder and chaos because of it).

Really? So then there is no such thing as voting? If the people want a war to end, they elect people to end it, they protest, etc. The public is solely to blame here, they have no notion of sacrifice.
-
No, the media and public are the idiots who loose the war on the pretext it costs too many lives (which it doesn't).

The day all troops are withdrawn from Afghanistan will be a cherished day in US history, one in which the soldiers "over there" will finally get to see their loved ones again, and be glad that the fighting is over. It will also be a day of celebration for the Taliban, as the only force capable of stopping them will leave the country and likely never come back. Once again, the US has lost another front in the War on Terror due to a hostile media and population. While the war may not have been going too well, the only way to make Afghanistan a stable country and/or a working democracy would be to destroy the Taliban, but, the US population seems to think that it is an impossible goal (or a goal that seems too hard to complete to be worth it). A withdrawal, however, would only repeat the same mistake the Soviet Union had 3 decades ago.

Big Brother still watches you, no matter how much you support or criticize him.

So suppose a woman REALLY wants a gun because her ex-boyfriend wiped his ass with the restraining order, and the police aren't having any luck tracking him down? I think he means obsessively wanting a gun.

There is no reliable media source, due to them blowing everything out of proportion. AND you didn't even try to explain to us what you meant in your argument when @danielsangeo pointed out the flaws (not entirely sure if I worded that correctly).

Which one was the longest?

Then please tell us how long we have, so we can prepare.

New stuff! I like new stuff. Can't wait for more FM!

I heard that there were recent peace talks between Palestine and Israel, but they don't seem to be going too well so far. EDIT: It's more that the peace talks are focusing on the most controversial and hard to solve issues first, and causing the talks to stall.

I'm on your side, but it seems the Muslim Brotherhood is determined to take control of the country in a bloody battle. I heard on the news they're going to attack military bases (looks like a lot of "martyrs" will be made tomorrow).

I think there was a video game like that. "Shattered Union" I think it was called. I do not think it will have to come to that though.

I played the indie horror game Vanish. If you enjoy horror, this an amazing game. Download link:http://www.indiedb.com/games/vanish/downloads/vanish-alpha-02a-windows

The Egyptian government that was led by dictator Hosni Mubarak since the 1970's, was overthrown in 2011 due to mass protests against his regime due to obvious reasons (but for those who don't know, the reasons were a poor economy and the repression of freedom). A new government was put up in 2012, this time led by democratically elected president, Mohammad Morsi. However, Morsi acted little better, suspending the new Egyptian Constitution, and started oppression anew. Clashes between pro-Morsi supporters and anti-Morsi protesters flared up, resulting in fierce riots between the two groups. Morsi was eventually overthrown by a military coup in July of 2013. The Army, however, is heading into the other extreme direction, arresting and/or killing remaining Morsi supporters, and outlawing the Muslim Brotherhood. Extactly who is in charge is up for debate as the violence across Egypt spreads. For now, we must wait and see what the future holds for Egypt.

The media is a corrupt and lying snake that blows anything and everything out of proportion unless it's foreign news. It lies more than Big Brother's propaganda machine.

Anyone currently wondering who will win the war? My money's on the opposition.

You are massively pessimistic my friend. If the US was as aggressive and totalitarian as you say it was, we'd be a surveillance police state, and force Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea into occupied territories, while cracking down on dissent internally and in occupied countries. And BTGBullseye wasn't being serious about the civil war stuff. And lastly, no country wants to invade the US at this time.

Seriously, does ANYONE have a story that they wish to share? If you do, please, PLEASE share it immediately! Don't hold back, share your story!

And we play the waiting game. I can play the waiting game.
