  1. Uplink? Awesome!
  2. Alyxx, have you ever tried deconstructionist games, like OFF? Some of them are more entertaining then the games thry take apart.
  3. Then find something you CAN back up, with irrefutable evidence, otherwise lying is the first conclusion I'll jump to when you mention a source you have no way to back up.
  4. Liar. Don't make a claim you can't back up.
  5. Both of the theories shown here verge on conspiracy theories and make little sense.
  6. That's idiotic. Hamas took credit for worse incidents, a "mere" kidnapping would be worth some propaganda for their fighters and would scare Isreal. That's a conspiracy theory. Idiotic, in other words.
  7. Iraqis are making another offensive towards Tikrit and the operation to retake Mosul dam has succeeded. Some good fucking news for now, if it wasn't for the fact that ISIS is beheading captured US citizens in response to the air campaign. Make of that what you will. EDIT: Tikrit offensive is a failure, suprises nobody. EDIT2: Shia millitias attacked a Sunni mosque and killed everbody inside. I'll try to find a news artile on it.
  8. And Hamas took no credit. One would think that they would praise this act to the high heavens, yes? Well I guess they DID praise it, but simply said "We didn't do it. We wish we did, but someone else beat us to it."
  9. http://news.yahoo.com/kurds-battle-retake-iraqs-largest-dam-general-155534398.html We have SOME good news in awhile, after all the tales of beheadings and massacres.
  10. Moral high ground my ass. The kidnappings didn't really happen near Gaza, and so far hundreds of people were arrested and there was a huge crackdown on Palestinians, prompting Hamas's rocket attacks. While fundamentally wrong, it would seem Hamas is attacking out of Israeli provocation.
  11. Teleportation yeah! Living under ISIL, or the Khmer Rouge?
  12. Then you accept that this is true for both sides in the conflict, yes?
  13. My point was that people don't go around killing civilians and committing war crimes for no damn reason.
  14. No, simply trying to prove a point.
  15. Then why haven't right wing fundamentalists in the US started major terrorist groups and started creating death sqauds against the people they hate? It may have something to do with the fact that they aren't treated like second class citizens and are left in poverty.
  16. One can hope right?
  17. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/08/14/al-maliki-iraq/14066619/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzRss&utm_campaign=usatoday-newstopstories Maliki is gone for good. Thank fuck.
  18. Except I do condemn Hamas firing rockets into Israel. I have no sympathy for a group of al-Qaeda wannabes. I simply feel that we cannot ignore wrongdoings by Israel simply because they are fighting terrorists. I also want you to answer this question: why is Hamas popular in Gaza?
  19. That designation is killing civilians. A lot of people in Gaza support Hamas or some extremist group or another to the point where, by that definition, everyone and everything becomes a target for Israeli bombs.
  20. http://bigstory.ap.org/article/iraq-maliki-tells-army-keep-out-politics This could be big. If Maliki is starting to deescalate, it means that there won't be a power struggle and fight for control of Bagdad. I hope.
  21. How did they determine and confirm the latter? How did you confirm the story's voracity? And what do the writers consider "militants"? (this could be radically different from the definition given by the majority of the world) Ah, couldn't find them. I think the definition of militants would be "armed people". Not sure about the other questions.
  22. I already posted news reports on the recent bombing runs on ISIS. What should happen is increased support for the Kurds, because, let's face it, "free" Iraq is collapsing under the delusions of a madman. Let's just hope ISIS doesn't take the Anbar while Bagdad burns.
  23. Let me go for the record and just say that Maliki has given ISIS victories that would be impossible with anyone else in power. Fucking idiot...
  24. Their statement contradicts all other statements in the matter.
