  1. Ross, thank you for introducing this game's soundtrack to me. I listened to it and looked around a bit for an "official" version of it to drop a dollar on or whatever, but I didn't find one. Closest was a piratebay link, so I'm ripping from youtube because it's faster for me. This will be part of my gaming music collection from now on. What an absolute gem. Thanks again.
  2. I don't recall any helicopters in this episode... He shot down a V-22 though... Don't be a jackass. It has spinning rotors, therefor, it is a helicopter. This is a direct relationship. Spinning rotors = helicopter. This is called "civilian logic." Sue me.
  3. hmm, all the Freeman's Minds got reuploaded, and to an easy-to-find playlist no less (just one more problem I had with them being on Machinima)? Well, time to marathon through again! It's nice to see that it takes a little bit longer each time I do it
  4. No. The biggest comparison I can make is that it's a sort of public-radio format, except for youtube. Kickstarter/clones are paying in advance to fund a future project. This is a way to pay creators for the content they create, instead of them having to rely on ads. Ross's biggest opponent to this would be the small audience. While it's a good idea in theory, it needs mass behind it (or VERY generous donors) for it to work. Aside from that, if I were the Green brothers, I'd put something on the end of the channel owner saying that they would have to release something annually in return, something that Ross, from my understanding, is reluctant to do, despite awesome content coming out as a result (see: Machinima film fest entry and episode 48). So in this particular scenario, I don't think it'd be the right idea.
  5. Depends. If Ross comes up with some sort of continuity for the remainder of HL1 and starts doing, say, 1 video 2 weeks on the clock, I'd love to see it continue. However, what with the erratic posting schedule that currently exists, I think I'd be happy enough if he were to lay the series to rest at the end of HL1. That's not to say I wouldn't love to see a HL2 series, just that if he decided to put it down, I'd be okay with that.
  6. I kind of assumed that Freeman would be lovestruck or otherwised hypnotized by Alyx the first time that he sees her for some reason. Maybe play it off with some dialog of some sort about looking for women a few minutes beforehand. After all, she is one of the only women you see in the entire series. At any rate, I expect at least one repopulation joke SOMEWHERE in FM2. "You're a man of few words, aren't you?" *staring at T and/or A* "...what?"
