  1. I agree Freeman does deserve a break
  2. There must be half a dozen cameras around here! YOURE GONNA GET US ANOTHER CITATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. loved the ending
  4. Well I am glad you didnt pass on or anything like that Otto, I always thought that you did great as a sound mixer.....and well hopefully you can get that situation with the open cut fixed properly since it would suck to lose someone whose done soo well with a show I have loved since 2007..........and Ross has made it such an amazing series that I cant stop laughing when I watch any classic episode
  5. Do you know why Otto Dissappeared Ross? because he has done quite good with the sound, hopefully he hasnt died or something
  6. i think 30 fps is better for YT.....60 would be better for movies.....
  7. I don't know, for me The Thing just blows away everything else by him, although Big Trouble In Little China is very good in an entirely different way. I watched Escape from LA again after I left LA in 2009. My favorite line from it is "this fucking city can kill anybody!" I meant to say New York not LA, man ohh man I am such a blond sometimes, but both are great, New York was the one about the Watergate roughly, LA was more like a sequel to expand on what ever happened to Snake after New York
  8. this was a good episode Ross, I think CarnEvil was ur best soo far, still like the Game Dungeon, thats still going to be something i think is brilliant, it will always be that way, that and your content you deliver for us........love it all
  9. I think the lead conductor: Tommy Tallarico (who is well known in Canada for his role on Reviews on the Run and Electric Playground) is Steven Tyler of Aerosmiths Cousin and well I havent been to VGL but would love to
  10. So, apparently, there will be no new Freeman's Mind episode before the new Game Dungeon episode. Unless it's going to be posted late at night or on the same day as said Game Dungeon episode. November's gonna be a really FM-heavy month, seeing as how Ross promised to get through HL1 by the end of December, and he has at least nine or ten episodes to go. Which means he'll have to produce new episodes weekly at the very least (assuming 62 is about done). I can't wait! I cant wait for the Game Dungeon episode, it should be badass, Hopefully it will top CarnEvil
  11. When I was a stupid brat I thought that it looked like a stupid Stephen King ripoff. Now that I'm a stupid adult I think of it more as a very decent Lovecraft and David Lynch mashup. I've seen about eight Carpenter films, and this and The Thing were the only ones I really liked. The man frustrates the hell out of me. He makes exactly the kinds films I want to see. They tend to have pretty intriguing concepts and some good black humor mixed in, so I keep watching them, and then most of the time I don't like them as a whole. Carpenters best film hands down is Escape from LA which was more or less like Pink Floyds The Last Cut (Both kind of deal with the hatred towards certain politicians, Escape deals with the watergate scandal to some extent and how carpenter felt like the government cant be trusted so he created a film more or less where a renegade has to rescue the president for whom he hates, The Final Cut was more or less about Roger Waters and his frustrations with Margaret Thatcher and the Falklands war and alot of what was going on in the early 80s)
  12. I remember that happened to me when I had a burned cd (not literally burned, but songs i put on there) and it meshed well since I had Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone playing at the beginning of the game, i was like wtf?!
  13. owwwwww That doesnt sound good Ross, I remember you mentioned the 8 inch scar near your artery on a post on ur site a while back but i cant remember which post it was from.......i just know its scary to hear that
  14. Great episode Ross, I cant wait for the rest of the episodes
  15. great episode Ross, keep it up
  16. that would technically be the voice of Freeman in some ways if you think about it so it would be good to see happen but I want one thing out of that if that would happen, Ross brings HLPrincess with him to Seattle and they have to come up to Vancouver for a vacation before going back to Poland
  17. Gordon should never speak, but I wouldn't mind Ross doing the grunts Gordon makes when he falls. Or another character (Maybe shepherd, if he's reintroduced). Even some of the combine, as long as Ross is involved somehow. Maybe then a certain bugfix regarding .avi files from 1996 will be added to the Source engine. Im only saying hes hilarious as Gordon, he could still do the voice of his mind so for an instance Alyx takes a look into his mind and hears Ross Narrating everything LOL!
  18. I really want Ross to be hired by Valve for Gordons Voice Hes already made Freeman sound like a badass as his voice
  19. No, Gaben never says anything directly. It always goes like this: Interviewer: "Is half life three coming." Gaben: "We have no plans either way, however do not dismiss the idea." Title of interview: HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED BY GABEN I want to leave this here: gaben.tv I hope you're ready for a miracle. I cant listen to his drivel anymore unless we get some more concrete evidence about the next half life i still think those who say its been confirmed i ask for a release date they say nothing, i only want them to really conclude the series with a bang
  20. This is always Valves answer to this kinda shit: Half Life 3 its Coming!
  21. Shame the guide never explained why he is silent since for all we know he is completely mute but we honestly dont know when or how he became that way all we know is Ross makes Gordon a real badass
  22. Here's another bit of fridge horror-y thought I came up with a while ago (though whether it contradicts anything in FM I cannot remember, I'm sort of half-asleep here): Gordon Freeman was born in Seattle. He went to college at M.I.T. and spent some time at the University of Innsbruck before getting the job at Black Mesa. As far as I know, those are all fairly temperate climates. So he moved into the middle of a desert. Chances are he spent most of his time inside the air-conditioned building and didn't have much chance to get acclimated to the heat. During the events of Half-Life, he runs around the desert in a heavy metal suit. So he was born in Seattle? he may have come on up to Canada (specifically Vancouver alot) since hey its close to Seattle
  23. FUCK YOU FISH!!!!!!!!!!! CALL ME ISHMAEL BITCH! "GREAT FUCKING SCOTT!!! GORDON FUCKING FREEMAN!!!! I wish I had some FUCKING Warning!" "Yeah you and me both Doc, He was just bout to board the express to Nova FUCKING Prospeckt!"
