I can imagine, considering how this episode probably has more screaming than any other combined.
-
Are you sure you didn't steal my idea? Also I looked at that site and it is scary so I left. The site's full of people from 8chan and Reddit watching videos and making fun of SJWs. I like going there when I'm bored and there's nothing else to do. Also, I think it'd be pretty cool to watch Freeman's Mind in a cy.tube chat with you people.

His speculation about the scientist teleporting to Xen and falling to their deaths is right. In Opposing Force you see exactly that.
-
We have a very short window of time to all jump into the Xen portal at once! I don't know how long I'll be able to keep the portal open, so act quickly! Hey, forget that Xen shit. Take us to Massachusetts.

If it's okay with Ross, I guess you could.

Every single living soul from this thread is gone now. This is how far we've come since Freeman's Mind has started.
-
Isn't Freeman's reaction to that scene already in Freeman Across The Universe? So is Freeman yelling at a random scientist, a scene which isn't in Freeman's Mind.
-
"I think you dropped this back in Black Mesa." "...Are you fucking with me?" "Good luck out there buddy. You're gonna need it." "Yeah, sure...don't give me a GUN, or anything. Give me this crowbar so I can try beating armed cops up close while I have an exposed head."
-
You know what, Ross, you may as well just answer this question now so no one pesters you about it when the final episode comes out: Are you going onto Half-Life 2 or not? You've said that you might continue this show if the popularity is still there, but that answer doesn't really apply anymore because the popularity clearly IS still there.
-
You know, if you do go onto Half-Life 2, you can take as long a break as you want. A few months to a year. You could make Game Dungeon episodes in between. I wouldn't blame you, considering how long you've been working on this show.

Six days left... The clock is ticking...

New Freeman's Mind up later today?

Merry Christmas, you glorious bastards

There already have been hints. "All I have to do is find the leader, blow his head off, and then they'll start bowing to me."

Ugh, I really hate this trope from the lesser Mind series. I'll admit I enjoyed Shephard's Mind anyway, though. Speaking of Shephard's Mind, Shephard teleporting the teleporter in episode 13 affects Freeman as well, teleporting him to random places.

A portal to an alternate universe opens right before the entrance to the Nihilanth fight. Freeman talks with his Freeman's(ish) Mind counterpart.

So episode 67 will be the final part of the factory area, then 68 will be the final battle.

Ross said in the blog post for episode 66 that he has special stuff planned for the final episode.

Freeman is like Patrick Bateman. He's always been a sociopathic, psychotic drug addicted egotist. He's just become more psychotic thanks to the resonance cascade.

Honestly, it seems to me like it'd be a lot easier (if anticlimactic) to do the rest of the HL series than if, let's say, the Assassin's Creed games - what with it's EIGHT INSTALLMENTS - was an FPS series that he started on in 2007 and was only just now finishing the first one. At least with Half-Life, there's an ending in sight that's been there since Ross first started this series. Seven years and no new information on a HL3 besides some really old concept art. Granted, HL2 itself would probably take a while to finish, but given the fact that Ross seems to be popping these out like crazy these days, I can see it getting done much faster. At least in a shorter time-span than a near-decade. It'd still take a while though, and Half-Life 2 and beyond are a pretty different tone from the first game, so I wouldn't blame Ross for cutting out after HL1. Like I said, I'm pretty sure Ross has said before that he was considering starting with Half-Life 2 because he could write jokes easier for it. I'm sure he could make it work. As for it taking a while, Ross started this as an experimental series and it ended up becoming something he did in-between Civil Protection episodes to quench the thirst for content. I think he'll alternate between Freeman's Mind and Ross's Game Dungeon again once he finishes Half-Life 1. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, I dunno.

I have no doubt in my mind that he'll go on to Half-Life 2. I have three reasons for this. 1. Ross has said he might do it if the interest is still there, and of course, the interest is still there. 2. Ross has said in a podcast that he was actually considering starting with Half-Life 2 because it would be easier for him to write jokes. 3. It's heavily implied that even if Gordon chooses the "bad" ending that he's still hired by the G-Man. The screen fading to black at the end is simply him being put into stasis. The G-Man talks about the illusion of free choice at the end of Half-Life 2, supporting this theory. So even if Freeman refuses he'll still go on to Half-Life 2.

Surprisingly, there were no sex jokes made this episode. I'm glad your sense of humor is more mature. It would've been way easier to just call the Gonarch a giant walking testicle.
